Two kickers tried for a record 68-yard field goal in Week 9 and only one came out victorious and his name, like his size, is Jaguars kicker Cam Little. While Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey ended up missing his record-tying (at that point) kick. With the “K ball” we could easily see a 70-yarder this season, so keep an eye out for another juiced up record!

Week 9 of the NFL season waves to us as we pull out of the rest stop on a deserted desert highway. The gravel crunches under our tires as we stare into the rearview mirror wondering what might have been. If only we could have foreseen the Titans D/ST being the top unit in fantasy against the Chargers! Alas, we can only look back in sadness.
But really, the Titans? Against the Chargers? This is why D/ST is a bad position to have in your fantasy leagues. It often doesn’t reward good defenses, as luck is a huge part of defensive touchdowns.

It was a bittersweet Week 9 for those who love tight ends, as Tucker Kraft’s season ended after a great stretch of football to start the season and Brock Bowers season just took flight after returning from a long absence due to a knee injury. These aren’t the kinds of trade offs we like to make for our tight end fandom!
We did get a big game from first round rookie TE Colston Loveland, as he went over 100 yards and caught two touchdowns, including the game winner for the Bears to eke out a win in Cincinnati.

Week 9 of the 2025 fantasy season was a tale of two tight end cities, one, Green Bay, full of woe and despair, the other, Las Vegas, full of jubilation. You probably know why, but let me tell you. Green Bay just lost the No. 1 fantasy tight end, Tucker Kraft, to a torn ACL, while the Raiders got stud tight end Brock Bowers back and how quickly put up over 100 yards and three touchdowns in his return. The NFL giveth and the NFL taketh away.

Week 9 is gone and that leads us Week 10, which I’ll call the wide receiver bye-ocalypse. Rashee Rice, Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are all resting this week, which is going to cost some of our fake teams a win, but we shall persist.

A trade deadline with several blockbuster moves — including a pair in the AFC East — is officially behind us. The New England Patriots, however, watched Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline pass without making any deals.
For now, the roster will largely stay intact heading toward a Week 10 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Who can be seen as the primary benefactors of the Patriots standing pat at the trade deadline, though? Glad you asked.
