The Denver Broncos took a commanding lead in the AFC West with a 22-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon. Here are five quick takeaways from the game.
1. Denver’s offenses missed J.K. Dobbins: After placing Dobbins on injured reserve with a serious foot injury, the Broncos averaged 2.8 yards per carry against a Chiefs defense that was allowing 4.3 YPC going into the contest. RJ Harvey led the backfield with 11 carries for 30 yards (2.7 YPC), followed by Jaleel McLaughlin’s six carries for 19 yards (3.2 YPC).

The Kansas City Chiefs began the second half of the regular season with a must-win matchup with the Denver Broncos in Week 11. Denver owns the league’s best seven-game winning streak entering the game as the Chiefs sought to keep pace in the AFC West.
Patrick Mahomes faced constant pressure from the Broncos’ talented pass rush throughout the game. He narrowly missed a few deep passes but managed to garner defensive penalties. Travis Kelce had a big game while clinching his name as the Chiefs’ all-time touchdown leader.

After a brief layoff, Formula 1 returns to action this weekend.
With the third installment of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. F1 returned to Sin City for the 2023 season to much fanfare, with a night race featuring the historic Vegas Strip added to the calendar. As we noted at the time, it was not the sport’s first foray into the desert, as the short-lived Caesars Palace Grand Prix was on the F1 schedule for both the 1981 and the 1982 seasons.
But now the sport has a new home in Las Vegas, and the layout has offered up some inspired racing over the past two seasons.

This is where we grind, boys and girls. Week 1 of the NASCAR offseason? Easy. Last week was a cakewalk. We had the WAGs on the red carpet, and they made life a breeze.

The Big 12 is 5-1 against ACC squads this season, a mark that includes two big results from this past weekend. First, unranked West Virginia upset formerly ranked No. 15 Duke 57-49 at the Greenbrier on Friday night in a game that the Mountaineers played the entire second half with just five players after six were ejected in a pre-halftime scuffle.

The NBA is about a month into the 2025-26 season, and hope is already starting to die for some teams. Most mainstream outlets had the Dallas Mavericks as a playoff team in the Western Conference over the summer, but now they’ve fired Nico Harrison and appear ready to tank for the 2026 NBA Draft. The Memphis Grizzlies thought they could compete in the West even after trading Desmond Bane over the summer, but their season is quickly going off the rails while so many key players have been sidelined with injuries.

The ACC split on four games Sunday, with Wake Forest beating UMass Lowell 109-75 and Virginia Tech taking care of Charlotte, 84-76. As for the losses, Notre Dame lost to Ohio State 64-63 while Miami fell to Florida 82-68.
Miami is vastly improved from last year’s disaster but they couldn’t stand up to Florida’s front line. Alex Condon scored 19 and shot 75%. Reuben Chinyelu had 16 points and shot 70%.
On Miami’s side, center Ernest Udeh had 3 points. Malik Reneau had 22 points but shot just 8-23, which is a good step down from what Condon and Chineylu did.
