Absent from competition for more than five years, “The California Kid” revealed on Uncrowned’s “The Ariel Helwani Show” that his contract with the company expired due to inactivity. The 45-year-old UFC Hall of Famer said he hasn’t been much of a target for other promotions throughout his MMA absence, but when the Global Fight League (GFL) emerged as a new player in 2025, Faber was offered a chance at redemption against his old rival Renan Barao.

Having been selected to play in the twenty sixth edition of the Navy All-American Bowl, Toodle will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
On Tuesday, the NFL decided to table discussions and a vote on a potential ban of the Eagles‘ short-yardage ‘Tush Push’ play. Two weeks ago, Green Bay proposed the ban and needed 24 votes for the league to pass it; the process stopped at 16 votes.
