NASHVILLE – It was a nice start for the Tennessee basketball team on Friday at the SEC Tournament, with Knoxville native Morgan Wallen watching from courtside. But, the Texas Longhorns mascot was close to being dealt with by a security guard watching over the popular country music star.
While the Vols led from start to finish inside a jam-packed Bridgestone Arena, it was Morgan Wallen who was grabbing the attention of fans as his favorite college team was taking care of business on the court.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs are in Tokyo, Japan ahead of their season-opening series starting next week. Both teams have Japanese-born players, with the Dodgers bringing Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki, while the Cubs have Seiya Suzuki and Shota Imanaga.
And if the fan reception is any indication, it sure looks like Major League Baseball’s effort to grow the game in Japan has been wildly successful.
On Thursday, the two teams held workouts at The Tokyo Dome, where the two games will be played.
The Tennessee Titans made a small free agency move on Friday, re-signing one of their own.
The #Titans are re-signing C Corey Levin, a league source said.
Levin will provide valuable IOL depth, especially considering that starting C Lloyd Cushenberry is recovering from a season-ending Achilles injury.
