For over 30 years, the Haudenosaunee—formerly known as the Iroquois Nationals—have sent a team to the World Lacrosse Championship and other tournaments under their own flag.
Competing independently of the United States and Canada, the Great Lakes-based Native American and First Nations tribe has won bronze medals at each of the three most recent world championships. They’re currently ranked third in the world, behind only the American and Canadian teams.

It’s time for a new list: Which team would be the funniest landing spot for Ohtani? Not the best or most reasonable. The funniest.
For the purposes of this ranking, we care not about logic or finances or practicality. This is not about who will sign Ohtani.

Shortly after sustaining an ankle sprain, cameras captured Lawrence slowly limping to the locker room with help from two team employees. Fans on social media curiously wondered why Lawrence didn’t take a cart to transport back to the locker room.
