The biggest mistake a football fan can make it taking NFL Preseason too seriously. Thankfully WGN in Chicago realized this as well, as sportscaster John Frydman blanketed his coverage of Bears vs. Titans with as many I Think You Should Leave references as possible, before doing the same with Cubs vs. Jays.

A new season is officially underway with the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1 commencing over the weekend. While the Bundesliga and Serie A will have to wait another week, the transfer market is still in full swing. 
PSG seems to be the center of attention with key actions being taken by its top superstars, but the Premier League is plenty busy getting its business done.

In an almost unbelievable news break, Kylian Mbappè is now in talks to extend his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

During NFL games, there are always various graphics comparing teams or players on opposing sides. Most of the time, these graphics show an interesting statistic to set the players apart, like how many career touchdowns or passing yards they have.
However, on Saturday’s preseason game between the Jets and the Panthers, fans couldn’t help but laugh at one of the graphics showing the differences between New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Carolina rookie signal-caller Bryce Young.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have become as close as you can get both on and off the field and their brotherly relationship was on full display this week when the Chiefs tight end gave his quarterback some high praise.
The All-Pro tight end was talking about Mahomes’s appearance on the new Netflix documentary Quarterback and said this is just his next step in Mahomes slowly conquering everything he touches. 
“You keep seeing him on this slow incline of taking over the world,” Kelce told NBC’s Peter King.

James Harden started Monday’s news cycle with some major drama when a clip of him at an Adidas event in Beijing went viral where he absolutely blasted 76ers president Daryl Morey. Naturally, the NBA world reacted and how could it not?
“Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be part of an organization that he’s a part of,” Harden said. “Let me say that again. Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of in the NBA.

Why James Harden’s 76ers trade request is leaving both sides miserable.
James Harden is fully entrenched in another period of discontentment — only this time, the aging superstar may not be coveted enough around the league to get what he wants. For the third time in a little more three years, Harden has requested a trade, this time to get away from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Fleetwood has had a terrific 2022-23 season, racking up eight top-tens. That includes a tie for third at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Tommy Fleetwood has been knocking on the door.
He has yet to win on American soil but has been close numerous times, including this past weekend at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis.

Peyton Manning is returning to his alma mater, the University of Tennessee, this fall, but not to help with football.
Instead, the two-time Super Bowl champion will work as a professor in the school’s College of Communication and Information. With this role, he will attend certain classes throughout the school year as a “featured expert” to give assistance and provide experiences for students in the school, per ESPN’s Chris Low.
Manning is expected to teach on campus beginning this fall, even though he resides in Denver. He often returns to Knoxville for various sporting events.

Young never stood a chance with the Panthers o-line against the Jets.
Fans hoping to see immediate dominance from Bryce Young will have to wait. The Panthers hosted the Jets in their first preseason game Saturday, and while the No. 1 overall pick showed fleeting moments of brilliance, the majority of the afternoon was a total bust. None of that was his fault.

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have agreed a €90 million ($98.6m) deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar, the French club confirmed on Monday.
