With less than one month left until the 2023-24 NFL season kicks off, OutKick is unveiling its team-by-team preview series. When Warriors star Stephen Curry wraps up his NBA career, fans will be hard-pressed to find another player capable of putting the ball in the hoop in the fashion and at the rate he’s managed to do it. The 35-year-old guard has created a different level of “elite” when it comes to shooting, and he’s continued to evolve and improve his game in the process as well.
During a recently quick-fire Q&A with Curry, he was asked to name the three best shooters in the NBA, excluding himself. His list was certainly interesting—to put it lightly (via Complex Sports).

The New York Jets need a better start to their 2023 season than Hard Knocks offered in its debut episode Tuesday night.
The Jets and the award winning HBO series are sharing high expectations this summer because one is the talk of the NFL and the other is the league’s lens and microphone for captivating entertainment in the preseason.
But this is where we all should agree the Jets must aim higher than what Hard Knock delivered Tuesday night on HBO because, well, that was unsatisfying.

Over the past two seasons Anarumo had a 9–4 record against Trevor Lawrence, Lamar Jackson, Derek Carr, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Matthew Stafford, Tom Brady and Josh Allen. In those games, his unit allowed 21.9 points per game. In the postseason, Cincinnati went 3–2 against those foes while never allowing more than 24 points, a showcase of remarkable consistency.

We’re officially two weeks out from the beginning of what will be the last normal college football season. Playoff expansion looms and realignment is entering our lives against our will, but we forge on to the beat of the college football drum.

The top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings head to Memphis this week for the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first of three playoff events on the PGA Tour.

There’s no shortage of praise, or at the very least serious appreciation, for Cowboys star Micah Parsons. The 24-year-old has wasted no time becoming widely viewed as one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
The proof of this comes from his 56 quarterback hits, 33 tackles for loss, 26.5 sacks and six forced fumbles in just two seasons. But if more convincing was needed, the comments from his fellow players during the reveal of the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2023 by NFL Network and NFL Films should do the job.

The quarterback position is the most important in the world of professional football. He has the ball in his hand on the majority of offensive snaps, and his knowledge, skill set and decision-making ultimately determine how an offense will perform. That also means he’s integral in the production of points for our fantasy teams.
As a result, it makes sense for us to know his tendencies.
What position does he target most in the pass attack? Does he take chances downfield? The answers are important to his draft value and of the value of the players around him.

While Julio Rodriguez garners everyone’s attention each time he steps into the batter’s box, his ability out in centerfield also helps his case for being the most exciting player in all of baseball. During Tuesday’s showdown against the San Diego Padres, it was what Rodriguez did after a catch that had everyone talking.
Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a shot to dead center during the top of the fourth inning, and while it looked destined to carry the wall, Rodriguez had different plans for the ball.

Former USMNT player and current Fox Sports soccer analyst had the audacity to criticize the USWNT after its early and ugly exit from the Women’s World Cup. CNN didn’t appreciate what Lalas had to say, even though what he said was factual, so it attempted to bash Lalas as a player in hopes to persuade viewers that he doesn’t have any idea what he’s talking about when it comes to the USWNT, Megan Rapinoe, or the World Cup.
