The Pistons aren’t a lot of fun to watch right now. (They have the worst record in the NBA at 2–13.) But the good thing about being a fan of a lousy team is that sometimes players who are worth watching come to town, like two-time MVP and NBA champion Nikola Jokić.
Jokić and the Nuggets came to Detroit on Monday night, but the home fans didn’t get to see him do very much. Late in the first half, Jokić was ejected when he earned his second technical foul of the night for arguing with an official.

It’s going to be a weird vibe at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day. Lions fans usually gather for their team’s traditional holiday game expecting to have fun but not really having high hopes for their team. Detroit has been hosting Thanksgiving games since 1934. For most of the last 50-plus years, however, the Lions are usually home underdogs in this game, which is also typically one of the few times the Lions can be seen on a national broadcast. But Thursday’s matchup with the division-rival Packers will be different.
The times they are a-changing.

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson missed his sixth consecutive game in Minnesota’s 21-20 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Jefferson, who suffered a strained right hamstring injury in the team’s 27-20 loss to Chiefs in Week 5, had not missed an NFL game since he was drafted. Although Jefferson is eager to return to the field and Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell has taken a long-term approach to the health of his star wideout, NFL fantasy players are not pleased with Jefferson’s absence.

The Chiefs were on the wrong end of numerous dropped passes on Monday night against the Eagles. One specifically noteworthy drop came off the hands of wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on a potential go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Valdes-Scantling was seen understandably slamming his helmet in frustration after the drop, and on Tuesday, he took to social media to send a message.
“I’m grateful, I’ll be better. And I appreciate the criticism and the support. God put this on me because he knew I could handle it.

Bill Walton continues to be completely unpredictable on the mic.
The former college basketball and NBA star is known for being one of the most eccentric people in broadcasting. You simply never know what he might say.
Well, he took that attitude to a new level Monday night when calling the Kansas/Chaminade game at the Maui Invitational. He appeared to be talking about teams going through adversity when he let viewers know his broadcast partner Kanoa Leahey’s dad had recently died.
“I know you carry some heavy baggage.

This season, the biggest news surrounding LSU women’s basketball has not been who is playing for the Tigers, but rather, who is not.
For two games now, LSU has been without the services of star forward Angel Reese. After abruptly spending the entire second half of the Tigers’ 109–79 win over Kent State on Nov. 14 on the bench, Reese was absent for her team’s wins over Southeastern Louisiana Friday and Texas Southern Monday.

Jordan Poole forgot how the game clock works
Jordan Poole in Washington is the greatest example of when you give a child the responsibility of watching the house for the first time. It could go smoothly, yes, but there’s also the chance they could burn down the house because they put a paper plate in the oven.
Poole and the Wizards have the second worst record in the Eastern Conference, and don’t play a shred of defense, but Poole is going to get his buckets, which has led to plenty of hilarious moments of shot-chucking and shenanigans.

The Pittsburgh Steelers fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada on Tuesday morning. Steelers fans are, by and large, not upset to hear this news.
Quick story: I attended the New York Rangers (LGR) opening game in Buffalo against the Sabres. My dad got the tickets from one of his work friends, a guy named Ryan. Ryan attended the game with us, despite being a Pittsburgh fan in all sports.
He also wore a Penguins jersey to a game between the Rangers and Sabres, for which I ridiculed him mercilessly.

Welcome to Week 12!
There are no teams on bye this week, so hopefully, your team is stacked with fantastic options as we head into the final weeks before the playoffs begin.
However, there is a high possibility that you may be in need at the quarterback position now that we know Joe Burrow is done for the season. It’s a significant blow, especially for those in two-quarterback leagues, who are now left scrambling and searching the waiver wire.
Another major blow is the loss of tight end Mark Andrews for the season.
