Ahead of their matchup on Sunday, it looks like there will be plenty of bulletin board material for Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase after Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf made a bold prediction.
During a press conference, Metcalf was asked what he appreciates about Chase’s game and showed some love to the former All-Pro’s ability to catch long-balls. However, he said his teammate cornerback Devon Witherspoon will lock Chase up.
“I think Spoon [Witherspoon] will get the best of him,” Metcalf said about the matchup.

Taylor Swift is back, NFL fans.
The pop star reportedly will be at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs battle Russell Wilson and the Broncos in an AFC West rivalry game that will be televised on Amazon Prime Video.
This will be Swift’s first time back at a Chiefs game since the SNF game a few weeks ago at MetLife Stadium, where NBC went a little overboard with its Swift coverage during Kansas City’s win over the Jets.
The Broncos plan to move on from veteran pass-rusher Frank Clark, sources told ESPN’s Field Yates.
Though placekickers can be a crucial part of a football game, they don’t often mix it up with the other players on the field unless it’s to celebrate or if there’s a pile-up after a block attempt.
But as broadcaster John Schriffen said during ESPN2’s Wednesday night telecast of UTEP at FIU, “Kickers are athletes too.” More specifically, kickers are football players as Miners kicker Buzz Flabiano demonstrated when drawing an unsportsmanlike penalty late in the second quarter for taunting an opposing player.
Yes, that’s correct.
Former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer has worked with several superstar quarterbacks since entering the QB coaching space including Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and many more. None of those players come close to USC quarterback Caleb Williams, however.
Palmer got his first glimpse at Williams when he was a junior in high school as the signal caller participated in The Elite 11 showcase. It didn’t take him long to realize that Williams was different, in the most complimentary way possible.
Deion Sanders wants his Colorado players to know the free ride they have won’t last forever.
The Buffaloes are currently 4-2, and are coming off a 27-24 win over a terrible Arizona State team that was far too close for comfort. Next up is an awful Stanford team. Colorado certainly has a good shot of improving to 5-2.
However, that’s not the only thing Deion Sanders is focused on. The electric Colorado coach wants his players to understand the good life of being a D1 college athlete doesn’t last forever.
OutKick’s Charly Arnolt — host of OutKick The Morning — gave her take on the controversy sweeping the hockey world that has nothing to do with hockey, the banning of Pride jerseys and rainbow-colored tape.
The NHL decided to do away with all specialty warm-up jerseys after woke fans and media members couldn’t stomach the thought of some players passing on wearing them for religious, personal, and sometimes even safety reasons.
1. The latest episode of SI Media With Jimmy Traina dropped this morning and this week’s show features an interview with the Monday Night Football broadcast crew, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
With the Major League Baseball playoffs in full force, Buck’s voice once again has been missed this postseason. With ESPN airing the wild-card round, it would seem like a natural fit to have him call some of the games.
Buck made it clear when he left Fox for ESPN that baseball wasn’t going to be part of his new gig.
Suddenly, the Lions are heavy NFC North favorites and have snuck into many pundits’ top-five power rankings.
They’re no longer the same ol’ Lions, but this surging squad will get a tough road test for one of the most intriguing games on the Week 6 schedule. Detroit will put its three-game winning streak on the line against the Buccaneers, who have also had a fast start.
But that might not be the most entertaining game because the Seahawks vs. the Bengals is shaping up to be a shootout.

Ahead of this week’s LIV Golf event in Saudi Arabia, Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson spoke about the OWGR’s decision to deny LIV Golf points.
Plenty of players for LIV Golf strongly oppose the Official World Golf Ranking’s (OWGR) decision not to award ranking points to the Saudi-backed tour.
Australian Cameron Smith is one of them, as he called the ranking system “obsolete.
