Say what you will about Nick Saban, the Alabama coach is not going to sugarcoat narratives around his program. After losing to Texas, a number of folks thought this was the end for Saban. Not quite.
The loss at home to the Longhorns gave people hope that Alabama would fade into the sunset, with a head coach that has looked more relaxed than ever. But, it seems as though many of the same people thinking this would be the last year for Saban fell into his trap.

It’s time to set those Week 6 DFS lineups!
Today’s article features players that will return value regardless of their salary price points. You’ll notice that I like some player pairs from the Rams, Bengals and Bears. Elite receivers this weekend are pricey but are likely worth the spend. Friday’s bargains article will have plenty of affordable running back options if you choose to spend up at wideout.

The Patriots stink, the Lions are good, and Brock Purdy is currently your MVP frontrunner. Don’t you DARE tell me the NFL ain’t scripted. I don’t buy it for one second, not after all the shenanigans we’ve seen the first few weeks.
I didn’t even mention the Dolphins, who are off to their best start in two decades, or CJ Stroud — the quarterback the Packers thought they were getting in Jordan Love.
He stinks, huh? Seriously. I think that kid’s terrible. Not 100% sure yet, but yiiiiiiiiiikes.

Sunday night showcased a few truths.
Brock Purdy is more than a manager, and Dak Prescott is more question than answer at the moment.
Purdy has started 10 regular-season games in his 49ers career. He’s 10–0 with 22 touchdown passes against four interceptions. He’s also averaging 8.6 yards per attempt, a number which this year stands at an absurd 9.3.
Meanwhile, Prescott has to answer the proverbial bell for the Cowboys. After leading the league with 15 interceptions a year ago (despite playing in only 12 games), he’s struggling again.

Bryce Harper had himself a night in Game 3 of the Braves–Phillies NLDS, hitting two massive home runs in Philadelphia’s 10-2 victory at home.
The Phillies now need just one more win to send the Braves, who won 104 games this season, home and set up a date with the Diamondbacks in the NLCS.
Things got personal for Harper in Wednesday night’s win, as he was seen staring down Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia after each of his home runs. Harper didn’t like something Arcia said about him after Game 2 and made his feelings known each time he rounded the bases.

Bryson DeChambeau, who is still exempt for upcoming majors after his 2020 U.S. Open win, has some suggestions for the four major championships to allow LIV players to qualify.

The NBA’s very own LeBron James stood with Israel in a statement released Wednesday, and a large group of his fans weren’t supportive of the message.
In a rare W for LeBron, he posted a heartfelt statement for the victims of Hamas’ war crimes against Israel. He went a step further by leaving the comment section open on the sure-to-be-controversial post.
Critics came in hordes, mocking LeBron for supporting Israel over the Pro-Palestine movement championed by mainstream Leftists.
Apparently, the fans wanted King James to appease Hamas rather than condemn the terrorist group.

There was a moment in Sunday’s blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints in which the New England Patriots trailed 24-0 and desperately needed a spark. The chance for that singular moment of clarity amid a season-long fog came in the third quarter when Bill Belichick’s offense crawled from its 25 yard line to the Saints’ 40.
But facing a fourth-and-3 situation in a game New England was desperate to grasp some momentum, Belichick opted to punt.
So, no answer.
Everyone saw it, most importantly Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Daly II went red hot in Dallas as he was one of the only bright spots for Arkansas Golf at the Stephens Cup.
Little John Daly II followed his dad’s footsteps as he left a mark on Arkansas golf. The team didn’t finish well, but Daly II and Jacob Skov Olesen were in the top 10.
Olesen was the high finisher for the Hogs as he was T7. Daly finished T10.
However, Daly fired off 70-67-69 for the three-day event in his fifth career start and was the only Arkansas player to place inside the Top 20 in all four events this fall.
