The Los Angeles Lakers had a lot of injuries on Thursday night and relied on rookie Bronny James to have the best night of his NBA career so far.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick relied on the second-round pick for nearly 30 minutes of action against the Bucks. He finished the game with 17 points (7-of-10 FG), 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 block. It was without a doubt the best game of his NBA career thus far.
But it was also a relatively historic accomplishment for the former USC guard. He immediately joined the history books next to Magic Johnson, which is no easy task.

March Madness is here. The first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament gets underway on Friday. As a No. 3 seed, Kim Mulkey and her LSU Tigers will play the role of host in Baton Rouge. LSU will face No. 14 seed San Diego State on Saturday night while No. 6 Florida State and No. 11 George Mason play earlier in the evening.

The New Orleans Saints have brought back a couple of players that took some time away from the team this offseason.
One of the more interesting players in that mold is cornerback Isaac Yiadom. They signed him to a three-year, $9 million deal to have him provide some quality depth.
Yiadom was signed to the Saints practice squad back in 2022 after he was cut by the Houston Texans. New Orleans seemed to fit and he came back for the 2023 season, that ended up being the best year of his career as he had 37 tackles, one interception and 14 passes broken up.

Four-star defensive tackle Kendall Guervil was one of the more highly sought after prospects in the class of 2026 class to attend FSU’s opening of spring practice on Wednesday. The Fort Myers (Fla.) High product enjoyed the chance to see the Seminoles new defensive system at work in-person and getting to be around the new defensive staff.

Guervil got his first chance to look at new FSU defensive coordinator Tony White’s new 3-3-5 defensive and he saw some similarities to how his high school team uses him on defense.
