Pittsburgh goalie Tristan Jarry had an incredible night of hockey
Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry had a perfect hockey night on Thursday.
The Penguins were on the road Thursday night, taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Early in the game is when Jarry made a contribution that flew under the radar.
Tempers flared in front of the Pittsburgh goal, and during the ensuing scrum Jarry saw a window, and went right through it.
Spurs star Victor Wembanyama couldn’t help his team avoid a 137—135 loss to the Hawks on Thursday night, but he still managed to give the fans at AT&T Center an experience that was well worth their money.
Wembanyama, who was questionable to play in the game against Atlanta due to tightness in his right hip, looked unbothered by the hip issue and finished the game with 21 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. In one show-stopping play, the 7’4” rookie proved why he’s becoming the ultimate do-it-all star.
A terrible story coming out of Finland today as women’s hockey star Sanni Hakala has been paralyzed from the chest down following an in-game injury.
The two-time Olympic medalist suffering the horrific injury after going head-first into the opponent’s goalpost before lying motionless. She was eventually stretchered off the ice by emergency personnel as the team’s game against Djurgårdens was postponed.

The Cowboys edged the Seahawks 41–35 in Dallas on Thursday night, thanks to a late touchdown pass from Dak Prescott. But it wasn’t exactly a banner night for the Cowboys’ defense (or the officiating).
The Seahawks amassed 406 total yards and went 9-for-14 on third down en route to scoring 35 points. However, Dallas got a needed late-game stop after Prescott’s touchdown pass to tight end Jake Ferguson, partly inspired by a fiery sideline challenge issued by the quarterback to the Cowboys’ defense.

The 2024 F1 season inched closer as Pirelli announced tire options for first 3 races
Feeling lost now that the 2023 Formula 1 season is over?
Well, we can already start talking about the 2024 season.
That is because Pirelli, the exclusive tire supplier for F1, announced on Friday the tire compounds for the first three races of the 2024 campaign: The Bahrain Grand Prix, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and the Australian Grand Prix. There are a few changes from 2023.
The Seahawks played with fire and got burned on their last play in a 41–35 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.
With a little over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, Seattle faced a fourth-and-2 at midfield, a conversion the Seahawks had to have if they wanted any chance to tie or win the game.
Any hopes of a comeback were dashed when Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons ran untouched into the backfield and pressured Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith into making a hurried throw that bounced harmlessly incomplete, clinching victory for Dallas.
If you’re looking to get in on the action in Week 13, there are a lot of good options on the board. Pay particular attention to props for Alvin Kamara and Juwan Johnson this weekend when they come out. Both receivers are in a good spot Sunday with other Saints receivers out. While we wait for those lines to come out, though, here are my favorite early values for the slate.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I know I am hoping for a shootout this weekend in the Broncos-Texans.
LeBron James makes life easy for his haters. Whether it be his appearing to blatantly lie about racist graffiti sprayed on the gate of his mansion, lying about reading books, or turning into a political activist when it fits his agenda, it’s not exactly hard for people to root against the guy.
While it’s perfectly fine to criticize James for certain things, one thing you absolutely can not knock him for is being a present father for his three children.
