Clayton Kershaw didn’t make it very long on mound for the Dodgers in his Game 1 start against the Diamondbacks.
The three-time NL Cy Young winner gave up a double, single, single and then another double to the first four batters he faced on Saturday night.
With two runners having already crossed the plate and two still on base, Arizona catcher Gabriel Moreno stepped to the plate.
Moreno, who had hit just seven homers in the regular season, connected on a slider for a home run to put the Diamondbacks up 5–0 before the Dodgers had recorded a single out.

UNC Tar Heels punter Ben Kiernan made an incredible play to salvage a blocked punt on Saturday afternoon against Syracuse.
With about five-and-a-half minutes left in the first quarter, Kiernan was called in to boot the ball away on 4th-and-3 with the Tar Heels up 3-0.
What the Tar Heels may not have banked on was Syracuse getting on top of Kiernan as fast as they did. Syracuse’s Denis Jaquez Jr. managed to get a piece of the ball and blocked the punt.
It bounced to the side, but Kiernan was aware enough to track it down.

A photographer on the sidelines of Saturday’s Wisoncsin-Rutgers game was unfortunately on the receiving end of an errant pass.
One that clobbered him right in the groin.
Rutgers QB Gavin Wimsatt rolled out to his left as he was feeling some serious pressure from some Badgers pass rushers. He got some space and threw the ball away into the endzone.
No harm, no foul… except for the poor photographer who caught the pass off the bounce with his manhood.

Can we get an injury update for the sideline photographer at the #Badgers vs #Rutgers game? Thinking of you dude. pic.twitter.
