The ice hockey player whose stray kick slashed an opponent’s throat was making an “unorthodox move” and “absolutely” trying to make contact, a former National Hockey League player has claimed.

The Raiders offense struggled again on Monday night, as they only scored one offensive touchdown and needed a defensive pick-six to remain in the game. On the season, Las Vegas has only scored 20 points or more once in eight games, and that even required a late-game safety vs. the Patriots to surpass that mark.
Raiders fans were not happy with Las Vegas’s offensive performance, and they seem to be done with their coach as a result. After the game, “Fire Josh McDaniels” was trending on social media just halfway into his second season with the team.

Max Scherzer only pitched three innings for Texas in Game 3. The Rangers bullpen proceeded to step up in a major way to take the lead in the series.
Heading into this season’s World Series, if you were talking about the pitching in this series then the discussion would inevitably reach the Arizona Diamondbacks and their bullpen. After all, they famously kept the Phillies quiet in the latter stages of the NLCS and had also had their way with the Dodgers and Brewers in the earlier rounds of the Postseason as well.
An ESPN interview with Lions coach Dan Campbell that aired before the team’s win over the Raiders on Monday Night Football is going viral because of the coach’s raw emotion.
Campbell was moved to the verge of tears as he talked about the players from his first year as head coach in 2021. The Lions started 0-10-1 that season and were the butt of many jokes league-wide, but Campbell credits them for helping set the foundation for where the team is today.
After a miserable performance against the Lions on Monday Night Football, NFL fans have seen enough of the Raiders. Specifically, they’ve had enough of the team wasting a future Hall of Famer.
Davante Adams simply had enough toward the end of the fourth quarter on Monday and the star wide receiver was seen slamming his helmet into the ground before sitting on the bench and holding his head in his hands in complete defeat after the offense fell short of scoring yet again. His reaction went viral as did his postgame comments.
“I honestly . . . I don’t know what to say at this moment.
The frustration surrounding the Raiders offense hit peak levels during the team’s 26–14 loss on Monday night to the Lions. Las Vegas fell short on virtually every big-play opportunity and in any and all statistical categories imaginable. They were outgained 486 yards to 157 and went 1-of-9 on third-down conversions, which was just the tip of the iceberg.
So when running back Josh Jacobs, the lone player to score an offensive touchdown for the Raiders, was asked about finding a spark for the team’s offense, it’s hard to blame him for brushing it off.
Following the Las Vegas Raiders’ 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday night, Las Vegas head coach Josh McDaniels appeared to have some sort of an epiphany.
According to the head coach who is now 20-32 all-time, the Raiders need to complete more passes in order to win football games.
“Not good enough,” McDaniels said, according to Pro Football Talk. “We’re going to have to be able to pass the ball better than what we’re doing in order to win.”
My sources have confirmed that passing the ball more efficiently does increase your team’s chances of winning.
Multimillion dollar buyouts and scandals/investigations can blur the picture around these coaches, but there’s no doubt that these jobs are subject to some volatility.

Will multiple NCAA investigations lead to Jim Harbaugh’s ouster at Michigan? And what will Texas A&M do about the Jimbo Fisher dilemma? Those are just a few of the high-profile coaching jobs worth watching.
