College football fans may have been surprised by Utah’s 34–32 win over USC in Week 8, as the Trojans were expected to be one of the best teams in the country. 
However, that result didn’t surprise at least one analyst. Urban Meyer praised Utes coach Kyle Whittingham as the best coach in college football on his Urban’s Take With Tim May podcast. 
“I’ve said many times Kyle Whittingham’s one of the best coaches in college football,” Meyer said. “Now he’s the best. He’s the best coach in college football.”

It was announced Monday that the Dolphins will be featured as the in-season Hard Knocks team, and two of the squad’s biggest names did not hide their dismay at the selection. 
When quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was asked about the news of Miami’s selection Wednesday, he paused for 11 1/2 seconds before saying a word. 
“That’s probably my reaction,” he said, according to the Palm Beach Post. 
Miami star cornerback Xavien Howard was less subtle. 
“Hard Knocks is [expletive], especially during the season,” Howard said. “No, I’m serious. I’m not a fan.

It’s not perfect, but this is still the best UFC game of all time.
Combat sports have always been near and dear to my heart in video games. From Mike Tyson’s Punch Out on the NES, to the legendary Fight Night Round 3 on the PS2/Xbox there’s just something magical about blending the intensity of a traditional fighting game with the real-life complexity of sport. The quality of UFC games have always been a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to quality, but EA Sports’ latest entry UFC 5 is unquestionably the best the sport has ever been in video games.

The way the 49ers and Jaguars have played the past few weeks are examples of why we love the unpredictability of the NFL.
Many were quick to crown the 49ers as the best team in the NFL. Now they’re on a two-game losing streak and many are questioning whether Brock Purdy is the right quarterback. But Purdy might not play Sunday vs. the Bengals because he was placed in the concussion protocol. If that’s the case, the 49ers are going to need their defense to step up after a poor performance in Minnesota.

Brooks Koepka doesn’t sugarcoat things. Whether it be admitting that he signed a nine-figure deal to join LIV Golf or his recent admission of chocking away the Masters to Jon Rahm, the five-time major winner calls it as he sees it.

Bodycam footage from Chris Olave’s Monday arrest obtained by TMZ appears to show the Saints wide receiver trying to get out of trouble by using his status as an NFL player. 
Olave was arrested Monday night in Kenner, La., on suspicion of reckless operation of a motor vehicle, police said, per ESPN. Police said Olave was driving 70 mph in a 35-mph zone on Joe Yenni Boulevard, which was described in a Kenner Police Department press release as a “mixed business/residential area.
