SUZUKA, Japan (AP) — Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton is not used to aiming lower. But he may need to as he adjusts to his first season with Ferrari.
He’s won a record of 105 Formula 1 races, but it’s anyone’s guess when he’ll make it 106. He’s won only twice in the last three seasons, and is winless in the first two races in main event in 2025 going into Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix.
“There was obviously a huge amount of hype at the beginning of the year,” he said ahead of Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix.

Raven Johnson’s stats don’t jump off the page, but her impact for South Carolina hasn’t gone unnoticed by Diana Taurasi.
TAMPA, Fla. — Raven Johnson’s eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped.
“She said that? Is that real?”
She called her teammate Sania Feagin over and pointed to the tweet shown on a reporter’s phone: “Look at this!”
While Johnson was playing a team-high 27 minutes to lead her South Carolina Gamecocks to a Final Four victory over Texas, perhaps the greatest WNBA player of all-time was heaping praise on her.

Apr. 4—JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown High School softball team is perfect so far this spring.
Head coach Mike Soulis helped to direct his team to a 2-0 record on Friday. The Blue Jays defeated Hillsboro/Central Valley 4-2 and West Fargo Sheyenne 15-5. Final stats were not available to The Jamestown Sun.
Jamestown’s conference schedule is slated to begin on April 8 with a doubleheader against Mandan. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. at Jamestown’s Trapper Field.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Maikel Garcia and Vinnie Pasquantino each had three RBIs to help the Kansas City Royals beat the Baltimore Orioles 8-2 on a rainy Friday night.
The Royals broke it open in eighth inning, sending nine batters to the plate and scoring five times.
Garcia ripped a double down the left-field line to score Mark Canha and give Kansas City a 4-2 lead. Kyle Isbel followed with a bunt to first baseman Ryan Mountcastle, who underhanded it to the plate, but Garcia beat the throw to make it 5-2.
Pasquantino gave the Royals a six-run lead on a bloop single that cleared the bases.
