The Cowboys are expected to trade for Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Houston is expected to receive a 2023 fifth-round pick and a ’24 sixth-round pick in return, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
If the trade goes through, Cooks will join the fifth team in his 10-year pro career. The wideout, who has recorded six 1,000-yard seasons, is coming off a down year, having totaled just 699 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games last year with Houston.

The Texans and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil have agreed to a record-breaking contract extension, according to multiple reports.
The deal is for three years and potentially worth $75 million with $60 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Aaron Wilson of KPRC in Houston. The new pact will once again make Tunsil the NFL’s highest-paid offensive lineman.
The previous richest contract for an offensive lineman was the six-year, $138.
