PHOENIX — Lamar Jackson didn’t have a team that was publicly interested in him — until Monday. But now the Indianapolis Colts are that team.
As expected.
And now it gets really interesting.
On the same day Jackson announced to the entire Earth he’s asked to be traded and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh could not guarantee the team’s starting quarterback would return, it became open season for the star quarterback.
And the Colts are the first team to publicly admit they’re interested enough to do their homework on the matter.

There’s no QB controversy going on in Philadelphia as the Eagles’ front office anticipates a new contract for quarterback Jalen Hurts sooner than later.
According to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, the team is expecting to reach a new deal with Hurts “relatively soon.”

Green Bay’s general manager revealed the team’s asking price.
After Jets GM Joe Douglas was asked about a potential Aaron Rodgers trade, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst broached the subject later on Monday during a media address at the NFL owners meeting. 
Via Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Gutekunst indicated that Green Bay is in no rush to push a Rodgers trade through and don’t have a timeline in place for a deal to get done, but indicated he’s hopeful something can be completed “soon.

Jimmy Garoppolo is the newest quarterback of the Raiders. The 31-year-old, who spent his first four seasons with New England, is reunited with Josh McDaniels in Las Vegas after signing as a free agent earlier this month.
Not long after signing, Garoppolo arrived in Sin City. He took a tour of the team facility at the (almost) three-year-old Allegiant Stadium, and immediately pandered to his new fanbase.
While checking out his new digs, Garoppolo encountered a mural that depicted the controversial “Tuck Rule Game” and immediately declared that the now-infamous play resulted in a fumble.

News of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson’s March 2 trade request shook the NFL Monday morning, as the 2019 MVP publicly aired his grievances with Baltimore’s front office.
The ongoing intrigue around Jackson has led fans, writers and apparently at least one celebrity to share their thoughts on the situation. According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, rapper Meek Mill texted Patriots owner Robert Kraft and told him that Jackson wanted to play for New England.
