The Jazz are firmly in the middle of a rebuild, but it’s safe to say even they (probably) didn’t mean to tank this blatantly in their Sunday night loss to the Lakers.
Under normal circumstances, the Utah Jazz (4-16 overall) losing a game would not be headline news. But it was the way they lost against the Lakers on Saturday night to secure that 16th defeat that was particularly notable.

The Buffalo Bills have been rolling at the top of the AFC all season, sitting only one game behind the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs in the standings while already owning the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Bills wasted little time showing they are the powerhouse the San Francisco 49ers used to be when the two teams squared off in Week 13. With a big lead already in hand, Buffalo scored one of the weirdest and most fun touchdowns we’ve seen all year thanks to superstar QB Josh Allen.

San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey went down on a non-contact play in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
McCaffrey took a handoff from quarterback Brock Purdy with roughly 10 minutes in the period and went down on his own, then limped to the 49ers sideline. He entered the blue tent for medical evaluation before heading to the locker room.

The San Francisco 49ers have received some kind of scare in the second quarter against the Buffalo Bills. Running back Christian McCaffrey took a pitch and quickly slid down to the field for a five yard loss. He quickly hobbled off the field after the play. On the replay, he was quickly gimpy as he caught the pitch and started running.
