If you’re someone who gets frustrated about how hard the game of golf is, this story may not be for you. JoAnne Carner, who turned 84-years-old in April, is teeing it up in this week’s U.S. Senior Women’s Open and bested her age by a whopping four shots during Thursday’s opening round.
Carner beat 30 (!!!) players in the tournament field in the opening round at Waverly Country Club in Portland, Oregon.

AlphaTauri racer Daniel Ricciardo injured his hand in a crash during practice at the Dutch Grand Prix on Friday, and his status for Sunday’s race is now in doubt, according to a report from ESPN’s Nate Saunders.
The accident occurred 10 minutes into Friday’s second practice session, when McLaren’s Oscar Piastri lost control and crashed into the wall on the first banked corner of the track in Zandvoort, Netherlands. Ricciardo was not traveling far behind Piastri, and he lost control of his car while trying to avoid Piastri.
Ricciardo missed Piastri, but crashed hard into the wall.

Entering the 2023 season, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is looking for a bounce back season following a disappointing first year in Denver. The quarterback is paired with new head coach Sean Payton, as the Broncos hope the two can work some magic.
However, one former NFL general manager thinks Payton could make an example out of Wilson. On Get Up, ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum went as far as to make a bold statement about whether Wilson will play the entire season.
“I would be shocked if Russell Wilson was the starter for 17 games this season,” he said.

The ‘coach’ Roy Johnson, the architect behind the fraudulent school named Bishop Sycamore asks the director whether or not his body language makes him look like a con-artist. This was the opening scene, so we we’re headed down an awkward path of storytelling.

During a recent scrimmage in Camp Randall Stadium, Wisconsin quarterback Tanner Mordecai fired a bullet to Braelon Allen running a circle route out of the backfield. Allen hauled it in and kept possession through a hard shot from a safety in the end zone for a touchdown.
That one play said a lot about how different Badgers football is going to be in 2023.
The play originated without a huddle and from the shotgun formation.
