There’s nothing like watching a good knuckleball floating through the air on a warm summer night. With all the triple-digit heaters being thrown these days, there’s just something beautiful about a knuckleball barely spinning as it heads to home plate. 
And you know what? Thanks to San Diego Padres pitcher Matt Waldron we can all sit back and experience just that thanks to this beautiful pitch he threw in Thursday night’s loss at home to the San Francisco Giants.

The pitch timer in postseason play will remain unchanged from regular-season play. The Executive Council of MLB informed the Competition Committee on Friday afternoon that it will not be presenting any proposals to amend rules for postseason play this year, according to a league official.
The notification is an indication that owners are satisfied with its pace-of-play initiatives and how players have adapted to the new rules.

Jonathan Gannon is entering his first season as a head coach in the NFL and taking over an Arizona Cardinals team that not only went 4-13 a year ago, but a team with an overpaid quarterback who’d rather play video games with random teenagers than watch film.

Matthew Fitzpatrick holds the solo lead through 36 holes at the Omega European Masters, an important tournament considering the European Ryder Cup team is finalized on Monday.
Fitzpatrick is not on the team yet, but he is ranked 6th in the world points for European qualifying.
