Two games are hard to paint a picture or tell a story about an entire season, but what Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever look like just two games into this WNBA season is a good opening chapter based on early-season showings.
With Caitlin Clark already breaking more WNBA records, the Fever also looks like a more well-rounded team than last year, with more veteran experience and depth across the board, who can alleviate some of the pressure from Caitlin Clark.

The Bills being chosen for ‘Hard Knocks’ was made possible due to recently changed rules regarding which teams can be selected. Previously, any team that made the playoffs in either of the two prior years were exempt from being selected.

Normalising the extraordinary. Even in their “worst season”, Barcelona are going for a second quadruple in a row and fourth consecutive Women’s Champions League title. Few may have predicted that late last year, after a defeat at Manchester City prompted a new narrative: this was the season they were finally not going to win anything.
In the end, they won the Liga F title but only after losing twice.

We’re onto Week 3 in my look into the biggest changes on each roster the Tigers will go up against this football season.
We started with a look at Central Arkansas, which you can find here, and last week we looked at the other side of the Border War, which you can find here.
So now we’re onto the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
Let’s get started with the most important losses from last year’s roster.
Here’s our latest look at the New Orleans Saints. The team shared a slick highlight reel from Tuesday’s organized team activities practice session, which you can see here, featuring several players who figure to have critical roles for the Saints this year.
“Money got made today, no cap,” second-year wide receiver Bub Means said into the camera. Players are still practicing in helmets without shoulder pads, but this phase of the offseason ramps up contact to help them prepare for a grueling summer training camp.
Wide receiver Garrett Wilson is in the market for a contract extension and head coach Aaron Glenn’s plans for the wideout are unlikely to have him scaling back his demands at the negotiating table.
Glenn said on Wednesday that the lesson he’s learned about Wilson since being hired in January is that he wants to “get him the ball as much as possible” during the 2025 season. That’s an approach that suits Wilson just fine
“It makes me feel great,” Wilson said, via the team’s website.

There are rolling substitutes, you cannot be offside and smoke cannons erupt from behind the goal when you score. Women’s football’s newest competition, with its $5m (£3.7m) prize pool, is highly lucrative for the teams involved but is not taking itself too seriously.
Its Thursday, May 22 and the Phillies (31-18) are in Denver to take on the Rockies (8-41).
Ranger Suárez is slated to take the mound for Philadelphia against Germán Márquez for Colorado.
The Phillies will be looking for the sweep today as they have taken the first three games of the series. Philadelphia’s offense has scored 25 runs thus far. They won yesterday 9-5. Bryce Harper and Trea Turner paced the attack with home runs.
Lets dive into the matchup and find a sweat or two.
The Detroit Lions announced they have signed first-round pick Tyleik Williams to his initial NFL contract.
Williams signed a day after third-round pick Isaac TeSlaa signed his rookie deal. The defensive tackle from Ohio State has been a participant in all the offseason activities prior to signing.
Based on the pre-slotted NFL contract scale, Williams’ contract is worth $16.48 million. That includes an $8.625 million signing bonus, and the entire contract is fully guaranteed. There is also a fifth-year team option, as is the case with all first-round picks in the NFL draft.
