Archie Manning is very proud of Arch, and his father Cooper, for how they approached the most highly-scrutinized recruitment in recent college football history. In an era where NIL exists and social media reins king, the first grandson of football mostly kept to himself.
Only he and his immediate family knew what was going on throughout the process. Not Eli, not Peyton, not Archie. Just Arch, Cooper, Ellen, and his brother and sister. Well, and the coaches.

However, DeCosta was asked whether the Ravens are taking a different approach in regards to this draft’s available crop of quarterbacks any differently given Jackson’s current situation.

Corey Kispert began the 2022-23 NBA season glued to the bench. As the Washington Wizards meandered out to a 4-4 start, Kispert didn’t record a single minute. He finally saw the court in a 42-point loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 4 and missed all 6 of his shots. Two days later, Kispert earned a starting nod. He’s played every game since and only logged fewer than 15 minutes twice.

When Mayfield signed his one-year deal with the franchise in March, it marked a new start for the former 2017 Heisman Trophy winner. However, it was not his first interaction with Bowles, who spoke with Mayfield at Oklahoma ahead of the ’18 NFL draft.
