Caleb Williams might not be the biggest fan of the upcoming college football video game.
For the first time since 2013, EA Sports will release a new college football game next summer. To say fans are excited might be the understatement of the year.

Over a decade after becoming the only player to ever be stripped of the Heisman Trophy, former USC running back Reggie Bush is fighting back.
Bush is alleging the NCAA defamed him in a new lawsuit against the organization, he announced in a press conference Wednesday. The suit, filed in a Marion County, Ind. court, seeks the reinstatement of Bush’s records from 2003 to ’05.
In the lawsuit, Bush says that the NCAA’s reasoning for punishing him in 2010—the claim that he participated in a “pay for play” scheme with the Trojans—is “patently false.

Urban Meyer allegedly was open about treating star players differently.

Simmons, who was taken with the No. 8 selection in the 2020 draft out of Clemson, was hailed as one of the most versatile defenders at the college level when he was selected. However, his stellar play at Clemson hasn’t yet translated to the NFL level, where he has struggled to meet expectations.
For Simmons, the move represents a fresh start. For the Giants, it’s a low-risk move for a player who still has plenty of upside.

The 24th team I’ve visited this summer is the one with new ownership and, seemingly, a whole new outlook. Here’s what I got from the Commanders …
1. The decision to take Emmanuel Forbes with the 16th pick—and over Oregon star Christian Watson—spurred a lot of conversation in Washington, but to this point, Forbes has been everything the Commanders imagined he would be. A big reason the coaches and scouts fell in love with him, to the point where he was a clear target (maybe the clear target) of theirs going into the first night of the draft, was his ball production. The second-year big man showcased an intriguing set of skills as a rookie to build upon moving forward.
Clarifying the future of the Charlotte Hornets stalled throughout much of last season as LaMelo Ball battled repeated ankle injuries and missed 46 games. But on 24 separate occasions, visions of a prosperous world flashed across the screen. That’s the number of times Ball connected with rookie center Mark Williams for a bucket. Hopes of a dynamic pick-and-roll tandem bubbled.
