CBS Sports reporter Amanda Balionis appeared to take a shot at Rory McIlroy during a post-round interview at the PGA Championship on Sunday afternoon after the five-time major winner declined to talk to the media throughout the tournament.

The Boston Celtics’ dream of repeating as champions is dead, the best player in the world has been eliminated, and the No. 1 seed the East is already on vacation. The second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs was full of carnage, and no one could have anticipated the last four teams left standing.
The Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves are meeting for the Western Conference championship. The Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks square-off for the Eastern Conference crown.
After days of back-and-forth and semantics, the NFL ultimately decided to table the vote on the Eagles Tush Push, with further discussions and research needed before making the play. All 32 NFL teams were supposed to vote on a ban of the Eagles ‘ short-yardage play two weeks after the Packers proposed changing Rule 12, Section 1, ahead of the NFL’s annual league meetings, asking for a permanent ban.

In week six of the United Football League, former LSU quarterback Danny Etling gave a strong performance for the Michigan Panthers on Saturday.
Etling completed 14 of his 22 attempted passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns. The Panthers’ 30-18 victory over the Houston Roughnecks clinched a berth in the USFL conference championship for the second-straight season.
The start was Etling’s first since week three and came after regular starter Bryce Perkins suffered an ankle injury last week. Through six games in 2025, he’s completed 60% of his passes.
Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand didn’t waste his chance to needle the Toronto Maple Leafs fanbase one last time after Florida’s 6-1 Game 7 win at Scotiabank Arena.
During a postgame interview on TNT, Marchand was asked by former NHL player, current analyst, and renowned Leafs fan Paul Bissonnette about the Panthers’ mindset heading into the second period.
Florida scored three unanswered goals in just over six minutes, including one by Marchand, to break the game open and remove all chances of Toronto advancing to the Eastern Conference Final.
