Shut up and play the hits, Bruce!
Rock star and proud patriot Kid Rock tore down Bruce Springsteen after the liberal icon labeled President Donald Trump a dictator during a recent show in Europe.
Springsteen’s outburst — claiming America is in shambles under Trump (when the opposite appears true) — fueled his Trump Derangement Syndrome.
All along, Bruce was teeing up Kid Rock, who gave the ultimate response.
Scottie Scheffler absolutely went off on how rules officials handled the first round of the PGA Championship on Thursday.
Scheffler was, understandably, frustrated with the decision ahead of the round not to allow players to take preferred lies. Rain pounded the Charlotte area, and by extension, Quail Hollow Club, throughout the early part of the week, making for unpredictable conditions in most fairways.
Sure enough, Scheffler, and his playing partner Xander Schauffele, both fell victim to the rain-soaked grass.

Kevin Gausman is technically the Toronto Blue Jays’ ace, but he isn’t pitching like one this season. The right-hander is 3-4 with a 4.59 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in nine starts after allowing six runs on 10 hits in 5.2 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday.
Gausman allowed three homers in the game after giving up just four in his first eight appearances. Rays (20-23) second baseman Brandon Lowe hit two of them while designated hitter Josh Lowe hit the other.
Gausman is in his fourth season with the Blue Jays (21-22), but fans on social media are ready for him to go.

“I don’t take it for granted I get to go out there and pitch at Dodger Stadium,” the 37-year-old left-hander said Thursday. “It’ll be exciting to get back out there.
“Unfortunately, it comes at a time when we do need some starters.
Iowa never expected this.
Oregon came into Iowa City as one of the hottest teams in the country, but the Hawkeyes are in first place.
For now.
The Ducks run-ruled Iowa 10-0 thanks to four home runs on offense and an absolute masterpiece turned in from Grayson Grinsell on the mound to propel Oregon to its eighth straight win. The left-handed ace threw a complete game shutout in 117 pitches, where he gave up just two hits while striking out eight and walking just one. It was Grinsell’s ninth win of the season.
