It can be difficult from time to time to pinpoint the exact moment the “doldrums” of summer start.
Is it the MLB All-Star break? Is it the end of the NBA Finals and/or Stanley Cup playoffs? Or maybe it’s the first week of August?
Who really knows!
Bleacher Report threw its hat in the ring for peak “doldrums” content, though, when they released their Top 100 NBA Players of All-Time list.
And boy oh boy, did it trigger some NBA fanboys!
Just take a look at the list and see what stands out to you.
ATLANTA, GA – Lane Kiffin took the stage on Monday afternoon with a somewhat toned-down approach to SEC Media Days, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to have a little fun at the expense of a few others, including Hugh Freeze.
Now, let’s be clear, when it comes to social media, Kiffin is in a category of his own, especially with the way he can poke opposing coaches with just one picture. And unfortunately for Auburn’s Hugh Freeze, it seems as though his golf game has become the talk of the town, with fans trying to tie it into his recruiting on the plains.

The NFL has begun unfurling its top 100 players in the league, and a Green Bay Packers player checks in at No. 80.
That’s pass rusher Rashan Gary, the first — but likely not the last — Packer to make the NFL.com’s annual ranking.
The slow-and-steady rollout began in late June with the No. 91-100 picks and will continue through the exhibition portion of the season; the top 10 players are announced Sept. 1. The list is compiled based on votes of NFL players.

Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg wasn’t on a minutes restriction during the NBA Summer League, but it does appear he was on a games restriction.
Flagg, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, will be shut down by his team after taking the floor twice in Las Vegas. The pre-draft hype around him proved to be real, as the 18-year-old electrified capacity crowds with several big moments in his two games.
With the Tennessee Titans‘ 2025 training camp roughly a week away, there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Now it’s time to break down each unit on the roster before camp opens to provide a preview of what to expect.
The first unit we’re covering is possibly the most important: The offensive line.
New Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi made it his top priority when taking over the franchise, and has done nearly everything in his power to improve this group during the offseason. Now it is time to see how these changes translate to the field.
President Donald Trump went viral while celebrating on stage at the FIFA Club World Cup on July 13, the latest of several sporting events he has attended as president.
Trump received boos and some cheers as he joined FIFA president Gianni Infantino on the pitch at MetLife Stadium, helping congratulate players and give some awards.
When the Chelsea players gathered to celebrate and raise the trophy, Trump remained among the players, one of whom admitted he was confused as to why Trump was still with them. Infantino eventually pulled Trump behind the players.
