“This is the best moment you can be in,” said Boston Celtics Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard after the Celtics defeated the New York Knicks in Game 3 of their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (May 10) night.
The win prevented Boston from going down 0-3 in the East Semis series, preventing the Celtics from replicating the sort of situation they faced against the Miami Heat in 2023 in the Eastern Conference Finals (and from which no team has ever come back from in league history).
