Former Giants running back and current radio host Tiki Barber said he has apologized to the Jets and their coach, Robert Saleh, about an incorrect report he made the regarding team’s practices against the Buccaneers last week. The ex-tailback accused Saleh of canceling joint practices with Tampa Bay for a different reason than he had publicly stated.
Barber, who hosts an afternoon talk show on with Evan Roberts on WFAN-AM in New York, said he spoke with Saleh about the matter and believes everything has been “smoothed” out.
“We have talked it out, so to speak.

It’s been over 19 months since Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball has played in an NBA game. Facing another lost season as he continues his recovery from a third knee surgery, Ball discussed his situation with the team Monday, lamenting missed opportunities in Chicago.
Speaking as a guest on the From the Point podcast hosted by Hawks point guard Trae Young, Ball said he was encouraged by his current progress and hopes to recapture the early success he and the Bulls enjoyed during his brief 2021-22 debut season with the team.
“It’s going to be a big what-if,” Ball said.
Video of Dodger Stadium appearing to look flooded due to Tropical Storm Hilary went viral on Sunday, but some fans were skeptical about the authenticity of the clip.
The stadium’s parking lot appears to be underwater in the video, but Angelenos know the iconic stadium actually sits atop a hill. The video appears to be authentic, but the parking lot is likely merely wet—and not flooded.
The Dodgers social media team responded to the viral clip by posting a photo of the stadium from Monday morning. The venue, which opened in 1962, looks to be undamaged by the storm.

Christian Pulisic couldn’t have asked for a better start to his AC Milan career.
The U.S. men’s national team star star made his Serie A debut Monday against Bologna, and in the 21st minute, Pulisic showed exactly why the Italian giants shelled out $22 million to acquire him from Chelsea this summer.
Combining with forward Olivier Giroud, Pulisic took a pass from the French international in midfield and launched a rocket from just beyond the 18-yard box.
Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs wants to be traded, according to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
On ESPN’s First Take, Smith stated that the three-time Pro Bowl wideout said that friction has existed prior to training camp, dating back to his decision to skip the first day of Buffalo’s mandatory minicamp in June.
“You got Stefon Diggs, this brother all-world receiver but clearly wasn’t happy, walked out, didn’t want to talk to nobody. Then he came into training camp, they had some friction they had to get settled and all of this stuff,” said Smith.
Senior Vice President Lee Fitting is no longer with ESPN, multiple sources confirmed to OutKick on Monday. Head of Event & Studio Production Norby Williamson informed employees that Fitting is out.
This is a major shakeup for the company just prior to the start of football season. Fitting’s oversight responsibilities included some of ESPN’s biggest properties, including Monday Night Football, the College Football Playoff and College GameDay. Fitting also oversaw the SEC Network.
Essentially, if the programming included football, Lee Fitting was in charge.
ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky had a surprising take on who the NFL’s “most hunted” team is in 2023.
In an appearance on First Take Monday, Orlovsky said he believed that the New York Jets were “by far” the league’s most hunted team, even ahead of the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Between the team’s outspoken coaching staff, its presence on this year’s season of Hard Knocks and of course, the addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Orlovsky believes teams will be gunning for the Jets all season long.
Oklahoma State softball took a huge loss when star pitcher Kelly Maxwell chose to enter the transfer portal back in July. The two-time All-American led the Cowgirls to three-straight Women’s College World Series appearances.
Maxwell, the ace, was named the Big 12’s Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2023 after going 16-7 with a 1.91 ERA and a conference-high 229 strikeouts over more than 140 innings. Her departure was a huge blow to Oklahoma State’s national championship hopes for next season.
