The Big 12 is reportedly in contact with multiple PAC-12 programs amid fears the west coast conference could collapse.
PAC-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff has so far failed in spectacular fashion to land a new media deal. Meanwhile, the Big 12 has its future secured with a deal that will pay members $31.7 million annually.
The lack of progress in the PAC-12 has many worried the conference could be raided and destroyed by the Big Ten or Big 12. The former could come for Washington and Oregon while the latter comes for Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Colorado.

This year at the NFL Draft combine, it feels like the crop of defensive linemen as a whole are faster and more explosive. We know about Nolan Smith running a 4.39, but even defensive tackle Calijah Kancey ran a 4.67 at 281 pounds, the fastest time for a defensive tackle since 2003.

Jon Jones will do his best to stay out of trouble while in Las Vegas.
Jones will fight Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 Saturday night in Sin City, but don’t expect the UFC legend to start popping bottles afterwards if he wins. Following a previous arrest in Las Vegas, the MMA star will do his best to not repeat his previous alleged actions.
“I’m not getting lit at all. You guys don’t want to see me lit. I’ll just leave it at that,” Jones told the media ahead of his fight.
