Jose Luis Ballester, the highly-rated Spanish amateur, has admitted urinating into Rae’s Creek from a grass bridge at the Masters.
Ballester, who won last year’s US Amateur, was playing alongside world No 1 Scottie Scheffler and admitted taking a toilet break on the way to the 13th green. Ballester claims the patrons nearby broke out into applause when his actions became clear.
“I completely forgot that we had those restrooms to the left of the teebox,” he said.

Kansas City, Mo. (AP) — Bobby Witt Jr. hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the seventh inning and the Kansas City Royals beat the Minnesota Twins 3-2 on Thursday.
The Royals trailed by a run before rallying for two in the seventh against reliever Cole Sands (1-1).
With one out, Freddy Fermin walked ahead of singles by Drew Waters and Jonathan India, tying the game at 2 before Witt drove a deep fly to center for the lead.
Daniel Lynch IV (2-0) struck out two of three batters faced and Carlos Estévez earned his fourth save.

Adia Barnes was officially introduced as the head women’s basketball coach at SMU on Thursday — but not before she dropped a nuke on her former school.
Barnes coached at Arizona, her alma mater, for eight seasons before making the move to SMU earlier this month. On Tuesday night, the former WNBA champion hopped on an Arizona Women’s Basketball Facebook group to thank the fans for their support over the years.
Well, that and to dunk on Arizona for being poor and having no NIL money.
“We changed Arizona WBB and put it on the map,” Barnes wrote.

Parker Brailsford didn’t change his tune when it came to the state of the left guard position on the Alabama football offensive line.
It doesn’t matter who offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic puts in there, Brailsford, the Crimson Tide’s starting center, said. It feels the same.
“Geno (VanDeMark is) a smart guy. Kam (Dewberry is) a smart guy,” Brailsford. “They are both doing really good in spring ball. I’m excited to see that battle, to see who wins it.”
But Brailsford needs an answer.
