We learned two things this weekend at Fontana: Apparently it snows in California, which is hilarious for the Cali global warming truthers. Also, Kyle Busch is a Hall of Fame NASCAR driver in whatever damn equipment you put him in.
OK, we already knew that second one, right? I mean, Kyle won with Hendrick, then Joe Gibbs, and now Richard Childress. Chevy-Toyota-Chevy.
But I’m not sure anyone thought he would be this good, this fast with RCR. Well, OK, that’s also not entirely true, either.
Brandon Miller’s Twitter account no longer appears to be active.
The Alabama star has been in the spotlight ever since it was revealed he drove the vehicle carrying the alleged murder weapon in the slaying of Jamea Jonae Harris. His former teammate Darius Miles and Michael Lynn Davis are facing capital murder charges.
Brandon Miller’s defenders are using a classic racist tactic:
The bigotry of low expectations.
His defenders want us to believe that Miller – an adult black male – is too stupid to be expected to make better decisions.
Don’t fall for it.
The Crimson Tide quarterback reportedly will wait to show off his arm at Alabama’s Pro Day.
With the NFL scouting combine set to begin Thursday, it appears that one of the top quarterback prospects in this year’s draft won’t be throwing there. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Bryce Young won’t throw at the combine and instead will wait until Alabama’s pro day to showcase his arm.
Young has fully recovered from an AC joint injury he suffered this past season, but he will skip the combine’s skill events and focus only on interviews in Indianapolis.
Plus, inside MLB’s hunt for a jersey thief.
Good morning, I’m Josh Rosenblat. If this weekend was a preview of the basketball that we’re going to get next month, then March can’t get here quick enough.

From Will Levis to Bryce Young, here is what matters at the Combine for the top passers
Welcome to Combine week.
The world’s longest — and strangest — job interview is upon us. Over the next week, over 300 NFL draft hopefuls will descend upon Indianapolis, hoping to prove to NFL teams that they could be the difference between an early playoff exit, and a Super Bowl.
Typically, the quarterbacks draw the most attention during the Combine, and this season is no different.
Sorry Bucks fans, any hopes you had of a second NBA championship within three seasons vanished this morning. That’s because Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam are now part of the team’s ownership group. And that’s not a good thing.
Per Tim Bontemps and ESPN, Milwaukee co-owner Marc Lasry reached an agreement to sell his portion of the Bucks to the Haslams for a $3.5 billion valuation.
As for the Haslam’s, it’s a toss up between LeBron James’ “decision” and their Browns ownership as to which has done more harm to Cleveland.
The Crimson Tide are the talk of college basketball, for all the wrong reasons. The program’s handling of the Brandon Miller situation is a masterclass in what not to do.
Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has reached an agreement to sell his portion of the Bucks to Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam for a $3.5 billion valuation, sources told ESPN.
The Chicago Bears have been approached by multiple teams about trading the No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft, and Chicago is said to be “leaning toward” moving the pick, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
