LAS VEGAS (AP) — Marc-Andre Fleury was on the bench the last time the Wild visited Vegas, but when he appeared on the video board late in that Jan. 12 game, the crowd cheered and chanted his name as if he had just made a save to help put the Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final.
It was to be Fleury’s last game at T-Mobile Arena unless Minnesota faced the Golden Knights in the NHL playoffs.

The teams open their first-round series Sunday night, and Fleury and his Wild teammates will be back in the building.

Dakota Ditcheva asked – and now PFL says she’ll receive.
One day after Ditcheva (14-0) told MMA Junkie she was “gutted” by the lack of activity, it was announced on the 2025 PFL World Tournament 3 broadcast Friday she’ll return in July. No date, location, or opponent coincided with this announcement.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić went into details in an interview with ESPN on Friday about the trade that shocked the basketball world in February, saying he hasn’t spoken to Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison since that trade.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Angels activated shortstop Zach Neto off the injured list before Friday night’s series opener against the San Francisco Giants.
The 24-year-old Neto injured his right shoulder injury when his arm got caught underneath his chest on a head-first slide into second base against the Chicago White Sox last Sept. 26. He missed the final three games of the season and had surgery in November.

Apr. 18—Football teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference will now be eligible for the NCAA Division III playoffs, starting in 2026, after conference presidents approved a proposal Friday made by the league’s athletic directors.
The conference’s 10 football teams — including Bates, Bowdoin and Colby — will continue to play a nine-game regular-season schedule. The conference champion will receive an automatic playoff berth.
