There is one joke that seems to resurface, every year on NFL schedule release day: the “Los Angeles Chargers don’t win Super Bowls, but they win the schedule release video.” This comedic bit comes in many variations, sometimes it appears as “it’s too bad for the Chargers that their actual football team isn’t as good as their social media team.”
Well, no matter what your feelings are towards the Bolts, you got to give them their props on the schedule release. They are elite, every year, and the 2026 edition did not disappoint.

And some have called this day the Super Bowl for the various social media departments within each organization.
Every year the 32 teams put their creative juices to the test, with the Los Angeles Chargers often leading the way. This year is no exception, as the Chargers drew upon the legendary Halo video game franchise for inspiration.
And threw more than a few punches at their opponents, and others, along the way.

The Indianapolis Colts had a release video featuring “The Simpsons.” The Kansas City Chiefs did a QVChiefs 1990s home shopping network parody.
The Philadelphia Eagles? The went simple with Jihaad Campbell, Jordan Davis, Jalen Hurts, Jordan Mailata and Saquon Barkley in a conference room opening envelops announcing each game. The hook? The players are showing their immediate reactions to the schedule.

Going into this week’s US PGA Championship, there was a fascination with how Aronimink would play and what challenge it would present.
There was a strong feeling the Pennsylvania course might be ripe for being tamed.
Instead of having its belly tickled and rolling over, Aronimink bit back on day one of the season’s second major. It bit back hard.
The Baltimore Ravens NFL schedule release revealed a big logistical nightmare in Week 2. On September 20, the Ravens host the New Orleans Saints at 1 pm ET.
Later that day, the Orioles host the Milwaukee Brewers at 7:20 PM ET.
This will make for an interesting and chaotic day in Baltimore.
