Is Goldberg Going to Win the WWE World Title from Gunther on Saturday Night’s Main Event? originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Goldberg keeps coming back for “one more match,” but pretty soon, his career will come to an end.
The 58-year-old former WCW champion is already in the WWE Hall of Fame, and he recently challenged Gunther to a match for a World title match on the July 12 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Goldberg is known for his 172-match winning streak in the late 1990s, which included his WCW championship victory over “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan.
Tommy Pham didn’t want to talk about it.
He declined to comment.
“Hell nah,” Pham told Will Burchfield, a reporter for WXYT-FM (97.1), in the visitor’s clubhouse after the game. “I got people to see.”
Pham, a 12-year MLB veteran playing this season for the Pittsburgh Pirates, engaged in a verbal altercation in the 10th inning Thursday, June 19, with three Detroit Tigers fans in the Home Plate Club, the premium seating section behind home plate at Comerica Park. The three fans were ejected from the game.
Shedeur Sanders, who was stopped for an alleged speeding violation Tuesday, also was cited for speeding earlier this month, according to court records.
The resilient Pacers turned Thursday night’s must-win into a blowout, rolling past the Thunder 108-91 to send the NBA Finals to a Game 7.
The Dodgers, who denied federal immigration agents access to the stadium’s parking lot, have postponed plans to unveil initiatives to assist immigrant communities.
Rays pitcher Hunter Bigge was carted off the field in a frightening scene Thursday night after he was struck by a foul ball in the dugout.
Through six games of these NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers backup point guard T.J. McConnell has been a revelation.
Despite often being the oldest and smallest player on the court, McConnell has found a way to leave his imprint on every game. If he’s not scoring with a patented short midrange jumper, he’s stealing inbounds passes and diving on the floor to seemingly make so many critical hustle plays.
