Bird’s Eye View launches May 16th
Exciting news from our friends at the Vox Media Podcast Network. Sue Bird – the legend/icon/baller herself is launching a new podcast focused entirely on the WNBA.
The show is called Bird’s Eye View. It is a weekly podcast launching next week on Friday May 16th. New episodes will roll out every Friday after that point. You’ll be able to watch each episode on YouTube right here. All the lovely links to listen are here as well.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Wednesday that they were releasing wide receiver Gabe Davis. However, former Jaguars‘ center Mitch Morse questions why that move was made.
Morse, who started at center for the Jaguars last season and retired this offseason, was not only Davis’ teammate this past year, but the two also played together in Buffalo as well.

Golden State’s superstar, Stephen Curry, will reportedly miss at least one week due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain suffered in Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Curry exited the second quarter of action against Minnesota, leaving with 13 points in 13 minutes.
Charania noted that this is the first strained muscle of Curry’s career, meaning the 37-year-old’s one-week recovery timeline could be beyond optimistic rather than realistic.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Austin Peay transfer defensive back William Hardrick, who previously played for Mississippi State and Miami (Ohio), has died, the university announced Wednesday.
The university said the 22-year-old Hardrick died Tuesday but did not provide details regarding a cause or location.
Hardrick “was an exceptional young man, and our team is heartbroken by his loss,” Austin Peay coach Jeff Faris said. “He made everyone around him better and has made a real impact both on and off the field.
