We often find ourselves drawn to the stories of those who have triumphed against the odds, the true underdogs in their field. In the world of football, these are the players who frequently go unnoticed, sitting low on the depth charts throughout the league. One remarkable example is former Falcons receiver Brian Finneran, who went undrafted and spent his first two seasons in relative anonymity.
The Vikings signed four of their five draft picks Thursday, the team announced.
Minnesota now has third-round wide receiver Tai Felton, fifth-round defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, sixth-round linebacker Kobe King and sixth-round tight end Gavin Bartholomew under contract.
First-round pick Donovan Jackson, who was selected 24th overall, is unsigned.
The Vikings hold their rookie minicamp this weekend.
Maine receiver Montigo Moss, the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, is among the invited players trying out.

Two days after losing Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors are nearing the point where they could be without Draymond Green as well.
The veteran big man picked up his fifth technical foul in nine playoff games this postseason on Thursday, leaving him two techs away from an automatic one-game suspension. Green has received such a suspension before, famously in the 2016 NBA Finals.
