The transfer portal has taketh from the Oklahoma Sooners since their season ended on Monday. Four players have entered the portal, but you can bet that the Sooners and Patty Gasso will be active to add talent to get Oklahoma back to the top of the sport.

Don’t expect that to happen.
While Terry Bradshaw’s No. 12 isn’t officially retired, it’s unofficially retired. And the Steelers surely wouldn’t issue it to Rodgers without Bradshaw’s blessing.
Then there’s the question of whether Rodgers would even want to wear No. 12. Two years ago, former Jets quarterback Joe Namath was willing to let Rodgers wear No. 12 in New York. Rodgers declined.

CLEMSON — Clemson football and coach Dabo Swinney added their second defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of three-star JR Hardrick.
The 6-foot-6, 231-pounder from South Pittsburg High in Tennessee is rated the No. 26 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite rankings. Hardrick chose Clemson over Virginia, Mississippi State and Louisville. He announced his commitment on X on June 5.
Hardrick helped South Pittsburgh to a 12-4 record last season. He joins three-star Kameron Cody as Clemson’s two defensive lineman commitments.

It’s about time. Aaron Rodgers inevitably agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers following a long, drawn-out saga.
The Steelers almost appeared desperate as they waited an inordinate amount of time as the quarterback carousel churned, leaving Pittsburgh as the only viable option.
When Mason Rudolph was quarterback No. 1 on the depth chart, maybe desperation was warranted.
“There is no drop-dead date specifically in my mind, no,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters at the NFL owners meeting.
