Full coverage of the 109th Indianapolis 500
Ahead of the 2024 Indianapolis 500, I sat down with McLaren CEO Zak Brown to get a flavor for the event. In addition to his duties with McLaren’s Formula 1 team, Brown’s position as McLaren’s CEO has him keeping an eye on Arrow McLaren, the team’s IndyCar operation.
And last year while Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were battling in the Monaco Grand Prix on the F1 side, Brown was in Indianapolis for the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Sergio Garcia didn’t have the best of first rounds on Thursday at the 2025 PGA Championship, shooting 4-over at Quail Hollow. Not great as he’ll stare down the cut line on Friday.
Maybe the veteran golfer who’s currently on the LIV Tour should blame it on his fit.
Garcia wore a mostly black top and bottom with some red highlights, but golf fans saw all kinds of things: Jafar from Aladdin, a bowling uniform, a cricket uni, and so on.
Sorry, Sergio. You’re a meme now.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for the No. 2 overall 2026 prospect and LSU target Immanuel Iheanacho will commit to Oregon.
The five-star offensive tackle visited LSU in March, the first of multiple visits throughout the spring. He named the Tigers as one of his top seven teams and considered the Ducks, Georgia, and Penn State heavily. But it appears the Ducks have the lead.

Nearly one month ago, OutKick first reported that evidence strongly suggested that sports apparel giant Nike funded a study on “transgender” youth athletes. Since then, the company has remained virtually silent about its alleged role.
Another group that has remained quiet about the study is Democratic lawmakers. Shortly after OutKick first reported on the study, several GOP Congress members blasted Nike for its alleged role in funding a study involving minors taking puberty-blockers and cross-sex hormones. That included Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn and Tommy Tuberville.

Time heals all wounds, huh? Winning does the same thing. Ask yourself three questions. Remember how big of an issue Haason Reddick’s exit was? Did you want him to stay with the Philadelphia Eagles, or were you hopeful he’d leave? When was the last time you thought about him?
He has endured quite the tailspin. He went from being a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate, a Second-Team All-Pro, and a two-time Pro Bowler to being seen as expendable and a trouble-maker.
Philly traded him to the New York Jets on April Fool’s Day in 2024.

Revisiting expectations is an important part of the evaluation process. It recalibrates narratives and helps to set future expectations. For a slow developing player like Mazi Smith, it provides a winnable playing field amidst constant scrutiny.
The elephant in the room and the scarlet letter sure to bias evaluations is Smith’s draft pedigree and the immediate expectations that came with it. As athe 2023 first-round pick, Smith came to the Dallas Cowboys with sky-high expectations.

Through his first two seasons of college football, Cayden Green was surrounded on the offensive line by veterans.
In his freshman season at Oklahoma, the left guard had mutli-year starting senior left tackle Walter Rouse to his left and multi-year starting senior center Andrew Raym to his right.
