Aaron Rodgers is reunited with Davante Adams in New York, but who are the other winners and losers from this trade?
The long-awaited Davante Adams trade is finally here.
After weeks of speculation, Adams is headed to the AFC East and a reunion with Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets. The trade was finalized on Tuesday morning and the wide receiver is already in the building, hoping he can help turn around New York’s season.
Like most of the NFL fans watching last night’s Bills-Jets game, Aaron Rodgers also felt that the referees were a disgusting joke.
“It seemed a bit ridiculous,” Rodgers said during his postgame presser in which he threw an interception during the Jets’ attempted comeback, solidifying the Bills’ 23-20 victory.
The zebras ended up throwing 22 penalty flags, with the Jets being flagged 11 times for 110 yards. At one point, Rodgers even told reporters that a roughing the passer penalty on him that helped his own team was incorrect.
The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 3-2 on the year with a much-needed home win over the lowly Cleveland Browns on Sunday, but as is often the case, the headline from the contest had everything to do with Nick Sirianni.
The Eagles head coach was seen jawing back and forth with his own team’s fans in the final seconds of the game. He then proceeded to sidestep questions about his interactions with fans after the game while surrounded by his kids on stage during his postgame press conference before sort of apologizing about it on Monday.

For people of a certain age, the song that best speaks to receiver Davante Adams being traded to the New York Jets was sung by Peaches and Herb:
Reunited and it Feels So Good.
That’s where we’re at after Adams was dealt to the team that will reunite him with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers and Adams played together eight seasons from 2014 to 2021 with the Green Bay Packers. And now Adams joins the Jets one year after Rodgers was traded to the Jets in 2023.
