James Vowles is a name that has become all too familiar in F1 in recent months. However, most motor sport fans would likely know his voice from the iconic, “Valtteri, it’s James” radio calls he used to make over a race weekend. Previously the motorsport strategy director at Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, Vowles has been a part of several very successful Formula One teams. Yet, in 2023 he took on a new challenge, joining Williams Racing as their new Team Principal.

The Bears announced Friday that they are exploring additional locations around the greater Chicago area to build their new NFL stadium instead of keeping Arlington Heights as the “singular focus.” 
Kevin Warren, the Bears president, held a meeting with Naperville mayor Scott Wehrli to discuss how the suburban city would be a good site for the franchise’s new venue based on “business needs” and “available properties,” Kevin Schmit of The Daily Herald reported Friday.

Despite some arguments in favor of LeBron, Arenas chose Jordan.

MLB may have sensed a change in the political winds.
Like the vast majority of modern corporations, Major League Baseball is usually eager to shore up its progressive credentials.
As they do most years, MLB changed its logo on June 1st to celebrate pride month, with the current version of the LGBTQ+ flag as the background.
But after just one day up on the league’s social media accounts, it quietly disappeared. Instead replaced by the traditional MLB logo after just a day up on Facebook and Twitter.

The Northern Irishman fired a 4-under par 68 in Friday’s second round at Muirfield Village Golf Club, putting him in contention.
Rory McIlroy put himself in a good position at the Memorial Tournament heading into the weekend.
He shot a 4-under par 68 for Friday’s second round, which included six birdies, to vault up the leaderboard from 33rd to tied for 5th.
