When the Pac-12 lost all but two member institutions in the last round of realignment, which sent shock waves around the college athletics world and created a massive ripple-effect, Washington State and Oregon State were looking for a life-raft to help them through the next two years of scheduling. It was the Mountain West Conference that jumped at the opportunity.ย
The whole point of the scheduling agreement that was signed by both parties was to benefit each other, with the hopes of a potential merger down the road.

Nobody in golf, outside of maybe fans of the sport, wants to see a deal be made between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) more than Jon Rahm. The Spaniard, who just wrapped up his first season on LIV Golf, would like to tee it up whenever and wherever he pleases, including on the PGA Tour.
LIV players are banned from competing in any PGA Tour events at the moment, but as negotiations continue between the Saudi PIF and Tour representatives, the rumors of LIV players becoming eligible to compete on Tour again continue to grow.

We make picks for all 16 NFL games with levels of confidence ahead of Week 4.
It has not been a pretty start to the 2024 NFL season for favorites. Each of the first three weeks has seen some of the biggest favorites getting knocked off. This past week saw the Bucs, Browns, Raiders, 49ers, and Bengals all lose as favorites.
Thatโs all resulted in some less than stellar picks for me. In last weekโs confidence picks, I finished 7-9 overall. My high confidence picks remain a bit of a boondoggle, sitting at 3-6 for the season.

The Sun beat Caitlin Clark and the Fever 87-81 in game two of the WNBA postseason series to advance and send the young phenom home.
After the game, Thomas shared some lengthy comments accusing Fever fans – which clearly just means Caitlin Clark fans – of engaging in racism.
She said the following:
“Honestly, it’s been a lot of nonsense. I think in my 11-year career, I’ve never experienced the racial comments from the Indiana Fever fan base.
Tickets to the Alabama/Georgia matchup in Tuscaloosa will cost fans a lot of money.
The Bulldogs are hitting the road to battle the Crimson Tide in a showdown between top-four teams. It’s the kind of game that college football fans love.
Matchups like this one are what people get amped up for, and as we all know, attending the game won’t come at a cheap price.
The cheapest ticket to get into Bryant-Denny Stadium as of publication is $333 including fees on SeatGeek, and the median price is around $680.
