Mercedes is looking for answers after the first two practices before the Australian Grand Prix
Mercedes came to Melbourne ahead of the 2024 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix hoping to narrow the gap to Red Bull and Ferrari in front of them.
As Saturday dawns Down Under, the team is still looking for answers.
While both George Russell and Lewis Hamilton were in the top ten during Friday’s first practice session, some “experiments” on Hamilton’s W15 saw him struggle in the second practice session.

A few months ago, 21-year-old videographer Kevin Fitzgibbons thought his career was over when the NFL revoked his media credential for literally having fun. But now he’s getting the last laugh (and a much better paycheck!) 
Last season, the college student was hired in a freelance capacity by the Miami Dolphins to capture video and social media content for the team. Some of his videos went viral – including many of Tyreek Hill, who would end up befriending him.

Michigan is paying defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale an incredibly rich deal.
Michigan named Martindale the team’s new DC after he left the Giants following this past NFL season, and if you want an NFL caliber assistant, he’s going to be paid big money. Not only is Martindale getting paid, but he’s getting paid like a head coach.
Austin Meek reported Martindale’s deal is for three years with a base salary of $2.3 million in 2024 and it increases to $2.5 million in 2025 and $2.7 million in 2026.

John Calipari’s seat at Kentucky has been relatively warm for a half-decade now, but after the Wildcats’ stunning loss to Oakland in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, his seat has burst into flames. 
The majority of Big Blue fans have seen enough from Coach Cal at this point. Kentucky has won just one NCAA Tournament game in five seasons and hasn’t sniffed an SEC Tournament title since hosting the trophy in 2018 while averaging 10 losses a season over the last three campaigns.

John Calipari wasted no time before finding someone to blame after a stunning loss to Oakland.
The Kentucky Wildcats lost 80-76 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to the Grizzlies in what can only be described as an absolute stunner.
Once again, Kentucky disappointed in the postseason, and it feels like a lifetime ago when the Wildcats were contending every single season.
But don’t worry, UK fans, because Calipari knows who is responsible for Thursday night, and it’s not him.

A couple Miller Lights or tickets to some NCAA Tournament games?
That’s the choice some people might have to make because tickets to some Friday sessions are shockingly cheap. Thursday is in the books, and after a day of games under our belts, you’d think ticket prices would probably be pretty competitive Friday.
After all, it’s leading into the weekend, people can get off work and it’s easier to travel. Well, if you’re in Memphis and want to catch some games, it’ll come at the cost of a beer at a nice bar.

A hard crash in practice from Alex Albon put Williams in a difficult position

As Albon was coming out of the exit to Turn 6 and ran a little wide into Turn 7, which resulted in a massive crash that caused substantial damage to his FW46:
