Caitlin Clark is apparently rolling in way more dough than people realize.
Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes are a one-seed in the women’s NCAA Tournament, and millions of fans are solely invested so they can see what the phenom does in her last March Madness run.
The Iowa star has captivated the nation. She simply transcends women’s college basketball with her prolific scoring abilities and personal brand.
It’s been previously thought she earns a little more than $900,000 a year in NIL cash. However, that number might fall very short of her real earnings.

Ladies and gentlemen, the NCAA Tournament is officially upon us, and that’s a reason to celebrate if there ever was one.
The conference tournaments and four play-in games were the perfect way to wet the whistle, but this is the day that fans waited all year for.
The first full day of the NCAA Tournament is as close to a euphoric experience as you can get in this lifetime. Nothing is better. Not a promotion at work, not buying a new car, not a nice vacation, not a fun concert and not even sex. Nothing else matches it.
It’s the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

Draymond Green was at the center of another fight on Wednesday, involving shoving between players and Green knocking over Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins.
Despite all the suspensions the NBA tries to throw at Green, the Warriors madman can’t keep his cool.
Wednesday night’s game against the Grizzlies took a turn in the second quarter when Green got tied up with Memphis’ Santi Aldama.
Green reached out to grab Aldama by the jersey, and during a break, Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins complained to the ref concerning Draymond’s signature bullying.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant sat eight points behind Shaquille O’Neal on the NBA’s all-time scoring list heading into Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Fortunately, the fans in attendance didn’t have to sweat it out for too long.
Durant cleared the mark with ease, finishing with 22 points on 10-of-18 shooting, and led his team to a 115–102 victory. He now has 28,610 points all-time, jumping Shaq (28,596) for the No. 8 spot on the list.

Jameis Winston hasn’t played a single snap for the Cleveland Browns yet, but he’s already well on his way to becoming a fan favorite. While many fans loved the team’s decision to add Winston on a one-year deal, that excitement escalated on Wednesday when a clip of the signal-caller went viral.
The Browns introduced Winston on Wednesday, and he wasted no time getting to work. The former New Orleans Saints quarterback was filmed taking snaps under center with a player that appeared to be 2023 draft pick Luke Wypler.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane received technical fouls in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game following a sideline argument that became a scuffle.
It began when Santi Aldama and Green exchanged shoves on the court, resulting in Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins speaking with the referee on the sideline. Bane didn’t seem to like how close Green was to Jenkins and the referee, so as Bane tried to move Green, more pushing followed.

Will this year’s NCAA tournament be deja vu for No. 1 Purdue on Friday when they face No. 16 Grambling State?
As a reminder, Purdue, a No. 1 seed in last year’s NCAA tournament, lost to No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson in the first round.
Grambling State beat Montana State 88–81 in overtime in a First Four matchup Wednesday night. The Tigers erased a 14-point deficit in the second half to take the lead over the Bobcats before the game eventually went into overtime.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are experiencing in-house drama.
On Wednesday, a report by ESPN’s Baxter Holmes revealed that a Timberwolves analyst is in custody and booted by the team after stealing vital information from a team executive.
Coaching analyst Somak Sarkar, 33, was arrested on Monday after Timberwolves executive vice president Sachin Gupta filed a complaint against the now-fired analyst.
Sarkar reportedly snuck into Gupta’s office at Target Center on a Saturday (Feb. 3) to steal a hard drive from the exec’s office.

The New York Yankees still are one week away from Opening Day, but slugger Giancarlo Stanton appears ready for the regular season.
In a spring training game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday at George M. Steinbrenner Field, Stanton smashed three home runs in his first three at bats. That included one homer that sent the ball over the batter’s eye in center field and another that resulted in a grand slam.
However, Stanton’s feat was also a career first.
