Achane was sensational earlier this season, amassing 460 rushing yards and five touchdowns prior to suffering a knee injury against the Giants on Oct. 8.
While averaging an eye-popping 12.

Uh… maybe?

Let’s start at the sharp end of the field. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is on pole for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix and that’s not a surprise at all.

ESPN’s College Gameday traveled to Harrisonburg, Va. on Saturday ahead of James Madison’s showdown against Appalachian State. It was just the third time in the school’s history that they’ve hosted ESPN’s flagship pregame show.
To celebrate the occasion, one committed Dukes fan decided to ink the day into history, getting a tattoo of Lee Corso’s signature on his leg live during the broadcast.
“I’m honored to get Coach Corso’s autograph tattooed on my leg,” said Doug Wixted, the JMU fan who was getting the new ink.

Seton Hall men’s basketball coach Shaheen Holloway apologized for his outburst directed at Wagner coach Donald Copeland when shaking hands after the Pirates’ 72–51 win.
“I take full responsibility for that,” Holloway said, via Asbury Park Press writer Jerry Carino. “I like Donald. I respect him. He’s a good person, a good player and a good coach.”
As Holloway and Copeland shook hands after the game, the two were caught on camera getting into an argument.

Hovland is on the verge of greatness as the Norwegian eyes a DP World Tour Championship after he won the PGA Tour Championship.
Viktor Hovland is in contention to win another Tour Championship this year.
Hovland won his first FedEx Cup, capturing the PGA Tour Championship earlier this fall. Now he has a shot at winning another, the DP World Tour Championship.
“It would be really cool. It’s been a crazy year. You know, it feels like it has been the off-season. I have had six weeks off,” Hovland said after his round Saturday.

Notre Dame has extended its media-rights agreement with NBC through 2029, the school and the network announced Saturday. The deal further cements the school’s commitment to its independent status in football, ending dreams in some conferences of wooing the Fighting Irish as major realignment becomes reality in ’29.
The new agreement “very much” reinforces Notre Dame’s independence, athletic director Jack Swarbrick tells Sports Illustrated. “In some ways more than ever,” he says.

The College Football world found it ironic that No. 3 Michigan football went to great lengths to hide their sideline instructions during their road tilt against Maryland on Saturday.
Leading the game 23–10 late in the first half, the Wolverines who are the subject of sign-stealing allegations, used massive flags in an attempt to block Fox TV cameras from viewing their team instructions. Coach Jim Harbaugh is suspended through the end of the regular season as a result of the allegations.

It appears everyone in Miami opted for the beach instead of the Hurricanes game this afternoon against No. 10 Louisville.
Frankly, I don’t blame them. It’s rained for like eight straight days in Florida. Today is literally the first day we’ve seen the sun since last Friday.
That being said, there are late arriving crowds … and then there are the fans in attendance at Hard Rock Stadium this afternoon:

Michigan State wide receiver Montorie Foster made on of the most impressive one-handed receptions of the season in the final minutes of the first half of the Spartans’ clash against Indiana on Saturday.
With 1:20 to play until halftime and the game tied 7–7, Spartans quarterback Katin Houser floated a pass to Foster, who registered the acrobatic one-hand grab. After making the catch, Foster evaded two Indiana defenders before breaking loose of a tackle from Hoosiers defensive back Phillip Dunnam on his way to the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown reception.

Turns out those NBA In-Season Tournament courts aren’t just horrifically ugly. They’re also potentially dangerous.
For the first time ever, all 30 teams are participating in a tournament during the regular season that does not affect regular season standings. But just so you don’t get confused about which is which, the teams have unveiled special floors with wild paint schemes to use just for the In-Season Tournament.
Friday night, the Toronto Raptors’ court at Scotiabank Arena made its debut, and the players didn’t love it.
