The NBA’s No. 1 draft pick proved his worth once again last night as 7-foot-4 Victor Wembanyama helped lead the San Antonio Spurs to an unbelievable comeback victory after trailing by 20 points to the Phoenix Suns.

Week 9 features a host of new injuries, and the QB position has been especially affected. With four quarterbacks on bye this week, many fantasy managers will need to watch the injury reports and have contingency plans in place for their signal-caller. New quarterback injuries include Matthew Stafford, Desmond Ridder, Kenny Pickett and Tyrod Taylor. Kirk Cousins is unfortunately out for the remainder of the season with an Achilles tear.

An MRI has confirmed the #Vikings’ fears: Four-time Pro Bowl QB Kirk Cousins tore his right Achilles tendon and his 2023 season is over.

The Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels late Tuesday night, roughly 24 hours after the team played terribly in a 26–14 loss to the Lions.
McDaniels didn’t even last two seasons as the head coach, compiling a 9–16 record on the Las Vegas sideline. He didn’t finish two seasons as Broncos coach either, going 11–17. And he never even started with the Colts after initially accepting that job.
That lack of success led many to question why the Raiders hired McDaniels in the first place.

Just what was that big F1 rumor that circulated Sunday night?
Around 9:15 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday night, after the Mexico City Grand Prix had concluded and the teams were looking to pack everything up and head to Brazil for the São Paulo Grand Prix, the Formula 1 world shuddered to a stop.
The reason? A cryptic tweet — post, or whatever we are calling it these days — on Twitter/X from noted F1 journalist Albert Fabrega. “No me quiero creer el rumor que me han dicho ahora en el paddock. No,” read the post.

We saw some spectacular quarterback play Sunday. We also saw some not-so-spectacular stuff.
At home with the Steelers, Kenny Pickett continued to struggle through his second season, as can be seen in his worst miss of the day of Pittsburgh’s 20–10 loss to the Jaguars. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes played through the flu and authored what can be argued as his worst performance in the NFL, failing to score a touchdown while also giving away three turnovers.
However, there was plenty of good under center as well. In Washington, Jalen Hurts threw four touchdowns, two of which went to A.J. Brown.

While the James Harden trade isn’t officially official just yet, the former Sixers guard arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday night and spent some time with his new teammates and watched the Clippers beat the Magic at Crypto.com Arena.
Harden, who finally got his wish for a one-way ticket out of Philadelphia in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, was seen meeting with Clippers owner Steve Ballmer upon arriving at the arena. He then made his way to the team’s locker room, where he ran into his old teammate, Russell Westbrook, and was later seen sitting next to Paul George.
