The Vikings had no choice but to make a move. On Tuesday, they did.
After Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles during the fourth quarter of a 24–10 win over the Packers on Sunday, Minnesota had few options. The Vikings could either turn to rookie fifth-round pick Jaren Hall out of BYU or find another option with experience.
General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah took the latter route, trading for Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs. According to ESPN, Minnesota is sending a 2024 sixth-round pick to the Cardinals while also receiving a seventh-rounder in return.

The longstanding game of chicken between the 76ers and Clippers ended Tuesday with the two teams agreeing to a deal that will send disgruntled guard James Harden to L.A. Details of the still-fluid deal: Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum, KJ Martin, two first-round picks, two second-rounders and a pick swap to Sixers for Harden, P.J. Arizona originally traded a seventh-round pick to the Browns for Dobbs at the end of training camp, as they needed a quarterback with Kyler Murray rehabbing his torn ACL.

He had some help from his wife, Savannah, who wore a Miss Argentina costume.

However, the Bears, sitting at 2-6 on the season, appear to be on the verge of yet another season without a trip to the playoffs. Sweat, meanwhile, will be a free agent following the season.
