The Penguins held a touching tribute to former player Adam Johnson before their game on Monday, days after he died as the result of an on-ice accident during a game in England.
Johnson died Saturday after suffering a cut to the neck from an opposing player’s skate during a game for the Nottingham Panthers of England’s Elite Ice Hockey League. He was 29.
Johnson signed his first pro contract with the Penguins in 2017 and played 13 games for the franchise in the ’18–19 and ’19–20 seasons.

Korn Ferry Tour players Jake Staiano and Vincie India were recently suspended for violating the PGA Tour Integrity Program by placing bets on PGA Tour competitions. Staiano, who was handed a three-month suspension, recently joined the ‘Any Given Monday‘ podcast to share details about the situation.
The Colorado State product explained that he never denied gambling on events, but his three-month ban compared to the wagers he made seem rather severe.
Staiano said that he placed a total of four wagers back in 2021 totaling $116.20, with all four bets being tied to Bryson DeChambeau.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was already one of the NBA’s most lovable superstars. But his performance Monday night giving his postgame press conference in a Hulk costume may have won over anyone who wasn’t already a big Giannis fan.
The Greek Freak was fully decked out for the occasion after the Bucks’ win over the Heat, rocking a mask and costume for the occasion as he answered reporters’ questions. He even broke out a Hulk voice as he opened the press conference, telling reporters “Don’t be scared” to the laughs of many in the room.

The Colorado defensive back was ejected during the Saturday loss to the Bruins on a targeting call, but it was a questionable moment at best.
Shilo never made head to head contact, and it’s very hard to argue it wasn’t a football play. Ultimately, it didn’t matter because the refs made a decision and stuck with it. That meant Shilo had to go. Yet, Deion still took a moment to let him know everything would be okay.
