The covering up of a Levi’s sign atop the World Cup stadium in San Francisco has been met with a mixture of bewilderment, humour and admiration since the tournament began.

Carson Hocevar is starting on the front row for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway. On Saturday afternoon, Hocevar jumped to the top of the board in Group B before losing the spot to Ty Gibbs later. At the end of the day, the Spire Motorsports driver qualified in second place.
This is a much-needed qualifying effort after the disappointment in San Diego. Hocevar had a very strong No. 77 car, but lost much of his track position after Corey Heim spun him out on the last green-flag run. Now, Hocevar hopes to carry this momentum and anger into Sunday’s event.

MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was listed as the third-worst venue, while Lincoln Financial Field was the fourth-worst out of the 11 stadiums hosting 2026 World Cup games within the United States, as rated by SeatPick.
