Red McCombs, the former owner of the Spurs, Nuggets and Vikings, died at the age of 95 on Sunday, his family announced.
“Red was a visionary entrepreneur who touched many lives and impacted our community in immeasurable ways,” the family’s statement read. “But to us he was always, first and foremost, ‘Dad’ or ‘Poppop.’ We mourn the loss of a Texas icon.

Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss doesn’t play games when it comes to handling Twitter trolls.
A Twitter user with the handle @BronGotGame and more than 8,000 followers tweeted a screenshot of an exchange with Buss where the Lakers owner appeared to get pissed about a simple interaction.

In the aftermath of a brutal college basketball brawl between Austin Peay and North Florida, the Governors and ASUN are suspending three players who were involved.
On Monday, Austin Peay suspended guard Kamarie Coffey for two games and guard Carlos Paez and forward Cameron Copeland for one game after a fight erupted in the last seconds of the Governors’ 73–71 win over the Ospreys Saturday afternoon in Clarksville, Tenn.

In this segment, Craig Carton plays a game called ‘Tag ’em or Bag ’em’, and decideS whether NFL players should receive a franchise tag from their teams, or if their contracts should be extended. Craig and James Jones disagree on what the New York Giants should do with Saquon Barkley, and they discuss whether he would be a better fit elsewhere.

The NFL offseason is here and we are all currently killing time in those quiet few weeks before free agency begins and things get a little nutty (hopefully they get really nutty this year).
Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons made things a little exciting Monday night when he decided to take a shot at the city of Detroit over the possibility of Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey going to the Lions if he’s released by Los Angeles. 
Parsons didn’t hold back and he’s probably now disliked by everyone in Detroit because this insult really seemed to come out of nowhere.

Blachfield pulled off an unexpected upset win over Andrade at UFC Vegas 69 this past weekend, and she had a unique reason for why her strategy got derailed:
