If this is how the draft goes down, here’s what it means from a fantasy perspective.
The 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4.0 was just released, it’s the first mock since Round 1’s order was finalized following the Chiefs’ coronation in Super Bowl LVII. There are 31 first-round picks (the Dolphins forfeited their first pick following an investigation into their improper communications with Tom Brady and Sean Payton).
Kevin Hanson’s mock features 14 defensive players and five offensive linemen.

Let’s all LOL at Lefty a bit more.
Phil Mickelson, when all is said and done, will forever be one of the greatest players in PGA Tour history.
He has won 45 times on the PGA Tour, which puts him tied for eighth all time with Walter Hagen.
He has won six major championships, including the PGA Championship in 2021 at the age of 50.
He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2012.
That all makes what’s currently going on with Lefty’s golf career all the more sad, yet also kind of hilarious.

The NBA’s Coach of the Year betting market is chock full of contenders and a first-time coach is the favorite.
The competition for NBA Coach of the Year is stiff with a few first-time head coaches up for the honor along with candidates who have won it before.
Celtics coach Joe Mazulla is the favorite at the All-Star break for his part in piloting Boston to the best record in the NBA to date. Though he began the season with the interim tag, he has since been named the team’s official head coach and has +175 odds to win Coach of the Year.

The former Crimson Tide safety started a new job with his alma mater.
Former NFL safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix officially retired from the NFL in December, and has already started his transition into the next phase of his career. Clinton-Dix took a job with his alma mater, Alabama, as a director of player development.
On Tuesday, Clinton-Dix reported to his new job for the first time, but apparently Nick Saban did not care that it was the former defender’s first day.

College football wants to shorten games but passes on most obvious fix.
1. My colleague, Ross Dellenger, broke the news Monday that college football is considering rules changes to shorten the length of games.
I was shocked to read in Dellenger’s column that the average length of a college football game last season was 3 hours and 21 minutes. That’s up from 3 hours and 16 minutes in 2018. I would’ve guessed the average length was at least 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Beverley has chosen to come back home. So what does this mean for the Chicago Bulls’ season?
At 26-33 – a record that currently has them two games out of play-in contention – the Chicago Bulls have been one of the NBA’s biggest disappointments as the No. 11 seed in the Eastern Conference. After a 2021-22 campaign that saw the team go 46-36, finishing sixth in the East and securing their first playoff berth since 2017, many presumed the team would take another step forward this season.

A Pittsburgh Pirates spring training guest who was shagging balls during batting practice reportedly suffered a cardiac event and needed CPR.
Jason Mackey, a Pirates beat writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that someone had collapsed in the outfield of Roberto Clemente Field at the team’s Pirate City spring training complex in Bradenton, Florida.

Serious, scary situation here at Pirate City. Camp stopped after someone collapsed in the outfield. Do not believe it was a player. Everyone obviously shaken. Details scarce. Ambulance en route. pic.twitter.
